      I WENT TO MEADOW DENTAL CENTER IN SLOVAN PA ON OCTOBER 22, 2021. I HAD A TOOTH PARTIALLY BROKE OFF. DR. ********* TOLD ME I WOULD NEED TO GET IT EXTRACTED. HE ASKED IF I HAD A DENTIST IN MIND. I TOLD HIM DR. *********. HE SAID HE NEEDED TO GET AN XRAY OF THE TOOTH FOR DR. *********S OFFICE. THEY DID XRAY THAT DAY. THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND IT TO DR. *********S OFFICE. I MADE THE APPOINTMENT FOR DR. *********, WHEN I TALKED TO THE GIRL THE SECOND TIME, SHE SAID THAT MEADOW DENTAL HAD NOT SENT THE XRAY YET. SO I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND IT. I RECEIVED ANOTHER CALL FROM *********S OFFICE AT THE END OF DECEMBER STATING THAT THEY STILL DID NOT GET THE XRAY AND THEY WERE GOING TO CALL THEM AGAIN. WHEN I WENT TO GET TOOTH EXTRACTED ON JANUARY 3, 2022, THE GIRL ASKED IF I HAD THE XRAY BECAUSE AGAIN, MEADOW DENTISTRY HAD NOT SENT THE XRAY TO THEM FOR THE 3RD TIME. MY APPOINTMENT WAS AT 6:45 AM AND WE COULDN'T CALL MEADOW DENTAL BECAUSE THEY DID NOT OPEN UNTIL 9 AM. *********S OFFICE SAID THEY NEEDED THE XRAY, SO THEY WOULD HAVE TO TAKE IT THERE AND I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR IT. I TOLD HER OK AND THAT I WOULD SEND THE BILL TO MEADOW DENTAL TO PAY BECAUSE IT WAS THEIR FAULT THAT THE XRAY WASN'T THERE. THE NEXT DAY I CALLED MEADOW DENTAL. THEY KEPT TELLING ME THAT THEY SENT IT. I TOLD HER THAT WHEN I CALLED AND ********* CALLED, THEY WERE GOING TO SEND IT AND NEVER DID. I TOLD HER THEY WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. FOR TWO WEEKS, I HAD CALLED THEM. THEY TOOK NO BLAME AND THEY KEPT BLAMING *********S OFFICE. I CALLED AND WAS HUNG UP ON. THEN MEADOW DENTAL TOLD ME THAT IT WAS AN OLD XRAY THAT MEADOW HAD SENT TO THEM AND IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN USED ANYWAY. I SAID WHETHER IT WAS THE WRONG ONE OR NOT, YOU DIDN'T SEND IT ANYWAY SO IT DIDN'T MATTER. I TOLD HER IN OCTOBER WE DID AN XRAY JUST FOR THE EXTRACTION AND THE XRAY TO BE SENT TO *********. SO SHE LIED ABOUT THAT. IT WASN'T OLD AND IT WAS THE CORRECT ONE. I WOULD LIKE MY $55.69 REFUNDED THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR THE XRAY.

      Hello, this is in response to ID ******** ******* ********

      We referred ******* to Dr. ********* 10/22/2021 for extraction of #30. We called their office and told them the periapical x-ray we took didn’t show the root, they said would take their own x-ray since they would need to see it.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
      They are a dentist office. They should know that the xray they took for ********* had to show the root. It is not my fault that they took a wrong  xray that *********'s office couldn't use. They had to know the xray didn't show the root. They have
      been in business long enough to know what xray was needed. So I am paying for their mistake. Not acceptable. They cannot admit it was their fault. They had 4 different stories for me on what happened. Obviously, their 
      clients don't matter to them. I am still looking for the reimbursement from them for the xray. If they don't accept, I will take this further. It is the point of the matter.
