Ordered home heating oil to fill my tank. It would only take 375 gal to fill full. I asked for 400 gal when I was told it would be a week out for delivery, that way I could assure my tank was filled. You only pay for the amount taken. Delivery came a day later. The driver dipped the tank reading showing it would only need about 370 gal or less to fill. He pumped fuel and gave me a slip charging me for 400 gal at 3.75$ a gal. I was quoted 3.75$ for less than 400 gal and discounted price of 3.70 for 400 gal or more. So first I was charged the wrong price. Then I dipped the tank, my tank is not full. I did not receive 400 gal, the tank would not have taken it. So not only did the driver spill oil all around my outside tank he over charged me for heating oil I did not receive. I called jacobs petroleum and they told me the price was wrong and the would look into the fuel amount. They would hold my check till at minimum the price was corrected. Never heard back and they cashed my check as quick as possible. Call second time spoke with the customer service manager she said she would find out what was going on, and needed to speak with the driver and whoever took my order. Was told give her a few minutes and she would call back. It’s been two weeks now and they have never called back. We are talking about paying over 100.00 in fuel I never received. By the way the driver stopped pumping the fuel, the truck pump did not shut off showing proof I did not receive the 400 gal. Also on my billing slip he wrote tank whistle under measurements because he did not dip the tank when he stopped pumping, not the truck pump shutting off at the programmed 400 gal.Business response

After receiving a phone call from Mike the Controller with Jacobs petroleum, all concerns and grievances were discussed and addressed. He was very professional and pleasant to speak with. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I was quoted a price for work to be done in order to bring gas line to code. They said my regulator needed replaced and a vent installed. They didn’t replace the regulator and added an unprofessional looking vent. They charged $400 for labor and was only there an 1 1/2 hour. Charged $100 for material that is maybe $30 worth.Business response
