We started working with K&J Exteriors on June 20. One of their employees, Matt came out to our house to give us an estimate on a fence. On June 23 he sent over the estimate for the fence in which we decided to move forward with that. On June 27 we paid a deposit of $2,800 to secure the price of the fence and to set a date for install. Matt had booked us for August 1st to install the fence. On August 1st, no one showed up. I called Matt and his phone had been disconnected. I then called the main number and Justin answered and apologized and set us up with Trevor. Trevor had informed us that the business was behind schedule and we were never in the book for August 1. Trevor had told us that they were cleaning up some messes but he would get us a date and told us we would be looking at mid to the end of August. Every time I reached out to Trevor asking for a date (all we wanted was a date that would could expect them to come) he kept pushing the timeframe. Towards the end of August/beginning of September, every time I called Trevor or the main number, no one would answer. There was no option to leave a voicemail. I even sent an email and did not get a response from them. Trevor would text me after I called saying he would get back to me but never did. We got to the point where we realized this company was not going to come out to do our fence. I asked Trevor for a refund and he said they would on Monday 9/12. We never got our refund and have not heard anything from Trevor or Justin. I filed a dispute with my credit card company but that can take a while and I would rather them just refund me. I am very disappointed with how they run their business and should have no business taking money from people if they are not going to do the work. So now we are out $2,800 and have no fence.
