Unit prices are no longer "conspicuously visible" at West Chester PA location of Shoprite. Unit price is now listed in a font size that's no longer visible while directly in front of the item and putting your face right up to it (guessing its a size 4). It seems to be concentrated to the items they have on sale and I'm no longer able to compare unit pricing between items. I believe the *** describes "conspicuously visible" as a font size of at least a size 10. Looking forward to your response to these concerns and having the ability to shop intelligently without exaggerated interference especially during these economic times. Thank you.Business response

I find this complaint to be without merit. There is no specific item or example identified in this complaint on which to respond. I have provided several examples of both sale and non sale item tags to show that all of the item tags include all required information in a font size much larger that the customer is stating.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: You have not corrected the problem that violates the rights of your consumers. I've attached pictures that were good to take so I can start to make more of a case, thanks for that opportunity. Please do your due diligence and compare actual font sizes on your sale tags along with taking pictures of the bottom shelf tag while standing up. Looking forward to Shoprite fixing this issue shortly, especially for their Tuesday Senior Days. Thank you.
Regards,

I placed an online order from shoprite and used my ebt food stamp card which was charged immediately for 434$, when arriving at the shop rite to pick up my groceries I was told my debit card for the pick up fee 7.89$ was declined so I handed them the card, when they then charged my card another 414$, when the groceries were already taken out of my ebt card. After showing the store manager Josh my receipts as well as the small print from the email stating ebt was taken out IMMEDIATELY, I was told there was nothing they could do, and that he refunded my debit card but could take 5-10 business days. I now am out 848$, three days before Easter, can not buy food because I have literally no money on any card because they charged both. I have been on the phone with corporate for hours yesterday as well as right now on hold as I'm emailing this, this is unacceptable and I need that 800$ immediately this is not right and that shop rite should be ashamed of themselves and should face penalties for this type of action. I have all receipts as well as phone logs from yesterday as well as today as well as bank statements and the ebt card showing the funds pulled out and not being placed back in. I want my money back immediately something needs to be doneBusiness response

Good morning,
We are in receipt of your complaint dated April 14, 2022. We also became aware of this same issue on the same date as this information came over from our 1-800 customer care number.
The customer’s payment method “failed to bill” and another form of payment was requested. Once we were made aware of the complaint, the customer’s card was refunded IMMEDIATELY (with credit appearing within 30 minutes) as per the email chain I have attached below.
I believe this should satisfy this incident.
Sincerely,
Kathleen *. M******

I am rejecting this response because:
We are still waiting for 69$ and some cents to be refunded to an ebt card that was once again charged twice and never received. Shoprite of west Chester has many issues with this occurring and the ignorance of the managers at the store is outrageous. There were three calls to the 1800 number and it took day 3 of this incident for the other funds to be added back on, but still waiting for the 69$. When that 69$ is added back onto the ebt card then this can be solved but as of now not all of the funds are back on.Regards,
