On December 21 2021 Karim H****** of Brandywine tax resolution was retained for the amount of 1500.00 to resolve my fathers tax issues. My father is 87 and has had 3 strokes and requires 24/7 care and is in a nursing home. He is a widower and a veteran. He owes back taxes for a number of years and Karim assured my sister and I he could get an uncollectible status for our father due to his medical condition. He requested documentation for his cost of care and medical condition, current financial responsibilities, past tax forms and income We met all his requirements and any other request he had as time went on. At a later date he billed us another 1500.00 for his service all totaling 3000.00. It has been 6 months and to this date no resolution and zero productivity on his part and almost 2 months since any contact as in updates. Karim has been very inconsiderate of our situation and whenever we were in contact with him he was rude and complained of all the work had to do in our case. He even disrespected my service to my country during our last conversation and have nor spoken since. We our still receiving letters from the IRS for our fathers back taxes and even requesting information we already provided to Karim proving he’s done nothing. Brandywine tax resolution took our money and has done absolutely nothing.Business response

This matter is frustrating because I am doing my very best for my client, ****** ********. ****** ********, **., presumably the individual who filed the complaint is not my client. My client, ****** ********, could not have filed this complaint because he has serious medical issues. I previously instructed ****** ********, **. not to call my office because he was being irrational and rude. I am primarily dealing with ***** ********, ****** ********'s daughter. My client has requested Uncollectible Status with the IRS. This is what he retained me for. I made an application for Uncollectible Status with the IRS in March 2022. The IRS requested additional information to be mailed in to process the application. This made ****** ********, **. very angry. He basically wanted to ignore the request and get the Uncollectible Status without providing the requested information. Because of his irrational and rude behavior I told ******, **. not to contact my office via telephone and I said I would deal with ***** moving forward.
The application for Uncollectible Status is moving slowly. This is very common with the IRS especially since the pandemic. In the most recent communication from the IRS, they stated that the matter would be resolved within 90 days. of 6/10/22. Since the initial application, I have been in touch with the IRS several times regarding this matter. There has been nothing that I could have done to make this matter move faster unfortunately. The IRS can move very slowly, but I am hopeful this matter will be resolved as promised by the IRS by 9/10/22.
In regards to the complaint by ******, **., it has no merit. ******, **. has been angry, irrational and rude since almost the very beginning of the engagement. His comments that I disrespected his service to the U.S. military are proof of his irrationality. On my mother's side, I have had family serve our country in WWI, WWII and Vietnam. In light of this complaint, I have asked ***** to contact me. I have not heard from her yet. Discussing this matter, in my opinion, with ******, **. would not serve any purpose. My best hope is to communicate regarding this matter to ******, **. through Diann. If you would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your consideration.
