Be careful. I hired Manuel Sanchez from Sanbury construction to do a job and he stole my deposit.

I hired Sanbury on February 8, 2022, and he started working on my property on September 12, 2022. He left on September 23rd, 2022 without any notice and he has not been back to finish the Job! I gave this man 23,627.95 of my hard-earned money. I'm a grandmother raising 2 grandchildren one of them has autism, and Manny had us sleeping in a basement, living out of boxes.

After nearly 3 months interacting with Sanbury Construction LLC and getting absolutely zero work completed, I would highly recommend to anyone seeking to utilize Sanbury's services to proceed with caution. Keep projects small and do not pay them up front until they have the materials to start work on site, have started work, or better yet do not pay them until they have completed the job. The positive aspect for Sanbury is that the owner is personable and confident, they can provide elaborate and impressive contracts - using contractor language, and the company refunded my deposit ($6,747,12) without hesitation when the initial work permit was denied. I would rate Sanbury as a 1-star company simply because I got my money back. Sanbury failed to do proper research on local building codes/standards which lead to the denial of the work permit, BUT they readily take your money before having all the preliminary ground work completed (shame on me). After I intervened and reviewed the project with the building code officer, the project was approved and a permit was issued. The company owner refused to continue with the project, even with an approved permit, because I questioned his self-proclaimed 5-star status and due to the owners personal issues. High ego/low performer = 1-star at best.
