Bought a Boat Motor, Motor never ran correctly and they refused to fix itBusiness response

On May 28 2021 I purchased a 2015 Mercury 200 Optimax ( remanufactured ) outboard motor for the total cost of $11290.98. I put $1000.00 down with the balance paid on installation. They where keeping my old motor for installation. So I got motor put on the June 17th and took it to Michigan fishing. The first time i put it in the water it would over heat at idle speed. I took it back several times and they put different parts on it. But nothing helped. So they wanted me to leave it with them on May 28th after trying more parts that did not help say they was pulling the powerhead the next day. I called and spoke with receptionist early 7/2 and she paged someone took take my call but no one did so she said someone would call me by the end of the day. That did not happen. So I called back on 7/6 with the same results. So at the point I do not want that motor and want my money back.Business response

*** ******* we feel was premature in filing his complaint. Our service technician got back to him as quickly as he was able. His motor was fixed under warranty.
