    Nationwide insurance insures my home. So I "bundled" my auto policy with them. They approved our policy and accepted our payment. About 60 days later I receive a Notice of Cancellation. The reason is stated as "Valid proof of prior insurance was not received." They gave no contact info and instructed me to contact their sales agent who sold me the policy.I contact the agent and ask what is going on, since he received the requested information on both vehicles. He told me he asked them not to send the letter and confirmed that he had the necessary information from my application. Days passed, nothing happened. I look up Nationwide's # and call directly. I send proof of previous insurance and car titles.Nationwide then insists on a "Letter of Experience" from my previous insurer. I contact my agent. He tells me he's never heard of such a thing. FYI, I am 60, my wife 55, both of us are accident and ticket free for 5 years we own our home, live in the sticks and the cars are paid for. What insurance company could pass that up? Well evidently Nationwide can. If they needed additional info, the should have requested it before approving my policy.I switched to State Farm and saved $120 every 6 month without the "Bundle Discount"Don't do business with someone who thinks they can change their mind after cashing your check.
