      I was a firm believer in the tools. But I purchased one and it broke and they wouldn't honor the warranty

      The item the customer requested warranty on, our part number *****, only has a one year warranty per our warranty policy.  The item in question has been discontinued for over 20 years.

      I had purchased a 47 piece ratchet set from SK Tools USA, LLC. I do not know the original purchase date, but it has been quite a few years. SK Tools USA, LLC has a lifetime warranty on their products including the ratchet set I purchased. I was told at the time of the sale that if any piece of that set were to break, they would replace it immediately. I had contacted SK Tools USA, LLC back on August 16th of 2022 SK Tools USA, LLC a broken ratchet from that set. They said they would send me out a rebuild kit for the ratchet. Although, not what I was told at the time of purchase, I accepted the offer. The kit never came and several emails sent regarding this went back and forth over the next couple months. They were claiming the kit was on back order. On October 11th, I finally requested just a new ratchet, as I need this tool frequently. After 3 weeks without a reply, I sent another email and finally on November 1st got a reply saying that would send the new ratchet for my troubles. 2 days later received another email that those too were on back order and would be in by November 30th. That day came and I emailed for an update. Then 2 more emails for the next 2 days and received a reply after the third day that they never came in. So, yet another back order and more waiting

      Our company is currently experiencing unusual supply chain issues and we currently do not have inventory on the item the customer has on order for his warranty replacement.  Attached is a copy of the customer's order showing that it is an active order in our system waiting to be fulfilled.

      Way back on November 12, 2021, I placed a $74.56 order for some 3/4" drive sockets. (Order #*********) A month later, news broke that this company was sold to a company based in China and was "rebranding". I learned that this company sold off all of it's 3/4" drive tools at auction but failed to issue me a refund. After 4 phone calls and numerous times contacting customer support through ********* every instance I was given the run around as they claim they were still working on issuing refunds. Multiple times I was told I would be getting it "tomorrow" or "today" on the day of communications. 4 months later and I'm still getting the run around with this company. 4 months is PLENTY of time to issue a refund. I want my money back but they fail to give me my money. Customer service agent on the phone says their constantly getting phone calls with others in the same situation and her hands are tied. Despirate for my money back and to wash my hands of this mess of a company.

      6 months ago I had a warranty issue with a ratchet, I called SK tools warranty, and was told to send the item to them and they would send me a new one. I boxed it up and sent it to them. For the past 6 months I have been getting all sorts of excuses. Its being processed to ship, we are out of stock, we don't offer that product any more and some one will call me as to a different replacement (no such call ever came) we moved our location. On Jan 11th I was told it will be back in stock in 2-3 weeks. After waiting 3 weeks I called on Feb 1st and was told to wait 4 more weeks. After 4 more weeks on March 1st I was told to wait another 4 weeks. I gave them options of a different ratchet months before but they were all always out of stock. I told them that I have been jerked around for a long time and I wanted a replacement ratchet or a check for $118.00 the price of one I found on the internet a few months before, and if I did not receive by March 7th (6 months since I sent it to them) I would contact the BBB about their unacceptable behavior.
