I purchased a 2023 Hyundai ****** from Hyundai of Abington. During my leasing process, I was told that I was due for a refund from my previous protection package of $4,000. I opted to use part of this refund and place towards my monthly payment. I was told $1500 was left over and would be sent to me via check. The paperwork also states customer due $1500. Two week after purchase , I still had not received my funds. I spoke with ***** and was told that the financial company is located in Virginia and will be resending the check after deducting a$35.00 cancellation fee. It has been another two weeks 1/17/2023 and I have yet to receive the money owed to me per the addendum to my lease contract. I have made several phone calls to which I was brushed off or my call forwarded to voice-mail. I'm am owed $1500.00 and will not rest until ny funds are given to me.Business response

In response to your letter regarding ***********************. To cut to the chase this client DID receive her check and she cashed it. I have attached a copy of the check that she deposited. She did complain originally that she never received her check and we immediately stopped payment on the check and issued a second check as you can see in the forms attached to this email.
If there are any other questions please feel free to call me at ************ which is my cell number. The difference between the $1500 owed and the amount she received is the stop payment charge from the original check. She was told of this deduction since we originally had the correct address on file from the original mailing.

Hyundai replaced my engine because of a recall. Checked all parts prior and they were in great condition. Pick up the car after the engine is replaced and check engine light comes on within 20 minutes. The service manager tells me to keep driving as it will turn off. Fast forward a few week, still not off. Take it back in and theyre trying to charge me $2,800 for parts that were 100% ok before the engine replacement. (Hence they would have never replaced engine if there were issues). Hyundai also had my car for 3+ months because of the recall and gave me 13 day rental because they said it wasnt their problem. The customer service has been terrible and they do not care about their customers!!! I should not have to pay $2,800 for damage that was caused clearly by Hyundai!
