A gift certificate of $95.00 is not being accepted because it was part of a promotion by bell Tower. I was given this git card as a gift. i had no idea that there were time limits on a gift card. What is this salon trying to do? I held on to this card because I thought that gift cards were to be honored. The last time I called the Bell Tower I was told by phone that it was good to use whenever. Now I am told it was part of a promotion and is expired. Is this acceptable?Business response

Our holiday promotion for gift cards last year was:
When you purchase a $125 - $300 in-store gift card, youll receive a bonus promotional gift card valued at 15% of your purchase.
When you purchase a $300 - $2,500 in-store gift card, youll receive a bonus promotional gift card valued at 20% of your purchase.
Our promotional gift cards are marked as such (see image below).
I would think the person that made the purchase and received the promotional card also gifted that card to this person. However, this person listed in this claim is not coming up in our system as ever being a guest here at Bell Tower. I would also be happy to explain to the customer and work with her if she is interested.

After contacting a manager from the Bell Tower Salon, he is willing to work with me. Please take notice of this. He really was quite nice about resolving the gift card dispute. Thank you for all of your help.
