I took my ****** to their service center to have the drivetrain fluids changed and the antifreeze changed along with the thermostat because the heater didn't work. They flushed the system (which I said not to do), they did not change the thermostat and about 1 week later omw home the truck overheated to the point of warping the heads which basically made my truck unusable. The engine is ruined! When I opened the hood, I noticed that the overflow tank cap was missing. Well, it had a security line on it so it couldn't be lost or come off. It was missing! One of the tech's at ****** forgot to put the cap back on, there fore, the coolant system never got settled in and eventually blew all the fluid out, in knowing to me of course. Now I'm out of a reliable vehicle! They said I had a slow leak. BS! I have the last 5 oil changes of oil at my house and there is not a bit of coolant in any of those jugs of used oil!!! I just want my **** truck fixed,on there dime!! I didn't cause this issue ****** and they r saying it's my fault. Next move is to a lawyer. I already contacted the attorney general's office.Business response

We performed all approved work on ****** that ***************************** authorized. Once **************** contacted us stating he had an issue with plastic over flow bottle cap we shipped one over night to him. We also paid to have it towed to nearest ****** dealer. ( ********** ******). Included is a copy of the RO with their finding. It states vehicle has coolant seeping into cylinder #4.(head gasket was recommended to be replaced) not uncommon for a 250k mile vehicle.
also attach email from ********** indicating their findings the issue wasn't caused by our service. We currently have vehicle here, customer needs to pick up vehicle asap.

We stand by ********** ****** neutral opinion . In addition when *************** contacted our service manager Tony V*************** he stated cap was cracked not missing. *************** is welcome to get a 3rd opinion at another Toyota dealership if they agree with him we would gladly except responsibility. Any further diag or towing will be at *************** expense . I reiterate *************** needs to retrieve his vehicle from our location asap.

That's BSand he freaking knows it!! His secretary **** was the 1st person I spoke to, while the engine was still boiling, and told her the cap was missing. And, in his conversation with me, he was also told the cap was missing!!! SERIOUSLY!!! WHAT A FREAKING DISHONEST COMPANY/PERSON, ****!
