We were given a quoted contract, they attempted multiple times to tell us that items were not included that were clearly in our contract. The designer came to me and told me how our design would look great with a step. We did not want one. Next thing we know, suddenly our design requires a step due to grading. Add an additional $1500. This duo literally tells you different things and then argues about it and won’t honor what they told you. The job was of a larger scale and literally destroyed our entire front and side yard. They reseeded the front yard and laid hay. They had their machinery parked in our side yard for weeks and left us the mess to reseed and clean. They crushed our drainage pipe and never told us. They cut our mulch bed incredibly short per the agreement and paid design with multiple excuses. They excavated and laid stone for a shed to be delivered on and it literally looked like a 10 year old did it. The stone pavers in the front, I will say this, there was one older gentleman who was very skilled at cutting. The rest were horrendous. From afar it doesn’t look bad. You get up close, there’s huge gaps, very crooked cuts. Very noticeable. We continuously kept being told every other week that it was more and more money due to rising costs. Our street is damaged from their vehicles, our driveway is incredibly damaged and stained from their decrepit vehicles. They laid mulch and sand and we ended up with maggots or some type of maggot type worm everywhere. One day they didn’t show up to work and my husband text her and she said she needed to meet him. She shows up and says they are done and here to collect final payment. We were completely astonished because the job looked unfinished. My husband showed them the pad where the shed was about to be delivered and the damaged drainage pipe and they became very defensive. They were saying they gave us a bunch of stuff for free. The owner instead is caught on camera hurling anti-Semitic slurs at us.
