On May 4th, I met with **********************, the owner of Guads Auto Repair. He gave me couple of estimates to install a performance muffler. We agreed on a Borla for about $400-420. He asked me for a deposit so he could buy parts to install over the weekend or mid week depending when he received the parts. He stated that the following weekend was going to be away with national guard? Mid week came and I havent heard from him so I called and he stated that he was in the *** I said I understand, no problem. He said he could install it in couple of days or the weekend ( the weekend that supposedly was going to be out with national guard). Couple days came and no call, I called him and he said he will do it tomorrow, he would call me on the AM. I waited till 4 pm, again no phone call! I call him and he said he just finished in a car and he was going to run to the parts store to get supplies. Eight oclock came, no calls, I texted him and he said he was in providence looking for welding material, on a Sunday evening? I asked for the name of the store and he changed the subject. I told him I was going to cancel at this point and I needed my money back. He agreed to do that, he stated that as soon as the store credit his account that he was going to credit my credit card. I texted him after few days and he said he was going to credit my account. That never happened, I blocked him as he was looking for trouble. As you can read by the texts he started to say over and over that I was threatening him, at the point I stopped texting him and blocked him as I believe he was trying to upset me on purpose. I just want my money back so I can pay someone else. I am going to call the US. National Guard as well and file a complaint but I dont think he is in the military anymore. Thank you.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I called my credit card company and there is no credit on my account! He promised to credit my account weeks ago and he never will. I am going to call his supervisor @ the ** National Guard and file a complaint with Attorney general as well!
