On 5/22/2023 i purchased a New Refrigerator from a "scratch and Dent" store called DR ********* in ******** **. The Fridge cost $700 I added an extended warranty of 1 year for additional $75 next day delivery for $85 and disposal of old fridge $20. A total of $880.00. The business agreed to next day delivery as I shared I was breastfeeding and had gone food shopping a few days before, and they understood my urgency. They failed to deliver until two days later, resulting in a loss of my milk supply and all the food I had purchased. As you can imagine i was extremely upset, and spoke to the owner *******. ******* lost his patience with me, he tried to settle by offering me $50 for groceries. From there on i decided to have my partner speak to him as he was very condescending. Upon delivery the men plugged everything in and immediately realized a loud noise. I told the men i didn't want the fridge and they said they couldn't take it back their job was only to deliver. It was past 6pm and ******* dont answer calls at that time. My partner spoke with ******* the next morning and shared the noise sent him videos, and shared there was no water or Ice. ******* sent the tech Hansel on May 26. He was able to fix the noise, he said the delivery man must have bangged the fridge and the metal back piece was dented and was hitting the fan. As for the ice and water he diagnosed it as the motherboard or "computer of the fridge" was not working. meaning my fridge and freezer temp can not be adjusted and i do not have ice or water. after 15 days they were not able to fix, and suggested i get another fridge . i went to the shop they didn't have the size, color, or model i needed. 3.5 months later ******* doesn't answer my calls, or texts. **** answers my calls many of the times and says "******* hasn't called you"? i'll call him now. I have asked for my money back, and for them to satisfy my extended warranty. They want to offer me a smaller fridge and that is not acceptable.
