I signed a contract with ****************** on January 14th, 2022 to have work done in my home. The kitchen was to be done. New appliances, new doors for the bedrooms on the first floor and a new bathroom door. Also new exterior doors and all trim to be removed and replaced. Walls were also to be painted. The work that has been done to my home is less than satisfactory and the way the money was asked for is not the way it was written on the contract. Here we are basically 5 months later and the work is not finished. I have three children and my kitchen is not in working order. My appliances have been in my living room now since April 18th. I have asked on several occasions about the doors and when the work was to be finished. ***************** continues to say in a few weeks every few weeks. I have open electrical outlets and a vent on the floor that was cut and is sharp and unsafe. Debris from the work was left in my cabinets no trim has been purchased or the doors that I have been asking for, for months. We had an incident that just occurred where he acted very unprofessionally and stormed out of my house because someone actually told him about his lack of care for the work he was doing. He even made a comment about taking me to court. The next day he text me and I let him know that he had seemed to make his decision on what he wanted to do and I left it at that, Suddenly he had changed his tune and wanted to finish the job but I feel very uncomfortable with him being in my house. Monday morning I wake up to him being in my home without my permission. He has been very unprofessional. There has been a lot of things that have not sat well with me during this job but he had already received the money because every time someone else came in he requested money ex: HVAC, Electrician, Plaster worker. I even had a dumpster delivered that I paid for but was removed before the job was done. For what he has received(over ******) there is no reason for me to be living in these conditions.
