Was called to pick my daughter up an hour into day one of a 2 week full day (9-3) camp for which I paid $650. My daughter was in severe distress and not properly cared for. Their version of events do not add up something occurred that they are not sharing, she was barred from participating in the 2 week camp and refund has been refused.Business response

Good day! Thank you for asking about this complaint. We adored being a part of ********* journey this past year but we have had continued behavior issues to work through. We were able to work through her hitting, throwing toys, and not wanting to participate. But on the first day of camp this year she kept trying to run out of the facility. This was a safety issue that we could not in good conscience keep allowing. We needed to keep her safe. We called Mom to pick up and reminded her that due to behavior they would be no refund (in which all our customers sign off in their waiver). She did call later that day to complain. She took both children out of summer classes at that point and we refunded the full amount of the summer classes. As a company we are happy to help these children through behaviors that need positive encouragement to change for the better but we do have to take in their safety as a number one priority.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.
The false narrative they are stating in their message is not an accurate representation of what occurred. Their conduct was extremely unprofessional and the environment was hectic and clearly has unresolved staffing issues. I did cancel all future classes with aim high that had not started yet for all my children. I do not expect a refund for the camp deposit amount but am seeking one for the remainder as she did not attend any days of the two week camp. The business has had ample time to comply and I am giving them every opportunity to do so before seeking a resolution through the financial institution. If they do not complete the refund this week I will do a chargeback through the cc company. I will also be reviewing them on all public platforms to warn others not to do business with them because this whole situation is absolutely ridiculous.

A full refund has been given to this customer as of 7/23/24 through their credit card.
