I purchased a used 2020 Bolt from **** Masse on September 27, 2023, they told us the title and plates would be handled and we could pick them up in the next 2 -4 weeks. We emailed and called frequently and were not given a clear update until October 28, 2023 when our temportary plate expired. Below is the quote from the email "We are waiting for it to be issued by the *********************. The state waits or holds title from being issued for 30 business days or up to 6 weeks. The customer who traded in the car had just registered the car 3 days prior to trade in. We are right in that window and have been in constant contact with the bank, which is Coastal1. With that being said, we here did not know that at the time of your purchase. We would arrange for a loaner car for you so you are not with out transportation.. Once again we truly apologize for the inconvenience this gas caused and working on it as quickly as we can." We asked for more information and if they could extend the temporary plate or any details, and they have not responded back. We are currently very concerned about the status of the vehicle that was sold to us as it does not seem like it was clear to be sold at the time of purchase.

      Dear ***********************,

Please accept our sincerest apologies for this inconvenience. We are still waiting for the title to come from the ** DMV. We are working diligently to follow this up. Unfortunately, these are not tracked from the **** they send regular mail.

The original customer registered the vehicle shortly before trading it in at our other location. This caused the issue as it takes time to print and send the title to the lienholder.

In the meantime, are you in need of transportation? We can certainly get you a vehicle to drive. Also, we would like to take care of your first month's payment as we know you can not drive this vehicle.

I also placed a call to you daytime phone number earlier. I will follow up tomorrow with a phone call as well.

My son financed a 2015 Chrysler 200 for me from **** Masse dealership at the end of May! About 4 months later ( september) my car started making a knocking noice and the engine light went on. I went in and spoke to the sales manager and he just tried selling me a new warranty incase the engine blew!!! i was upset and crying, I only had this car for 4 months and already the engine could blow! I then took it to a mechanic and he said it was the lifters and anchors, that was about a **** job! He stated the dealership should be responsible! I called many times over the course of the month finally speaking to *****************************, the Vice President. He said he will have his shop take a look and gave me a loaner! My car ended up needing anchors and the lifters kept misfiring making the noise! I didnt have the money to fix it, ive only had the car 5 months by then, and *** said he couldnt afford to fix it either! They said we would have to Reapply for financing, which we did not get approved for!!! Now I am paying and driving a car that the engine could blow at any moment! Shame on such a big dealership to sell a lemon car to a family who is just getting by! This definitely needs to be addressed and I believe ***************************** and his dealership are responsible for putting me in a reliable car without having to refinance!

      To whom it may concern:

We were very disheartened to hear about ****************** dissatisfaction with her purchase. We have certainly tried to accommodate in many ways. Please see below.

When we sold the Chrysler 200 it was sold with a 3 month or ***** mile limited bumper to bumper warranty. The vehicle was also put through our shop here and we went through the vehicle and addressed any known issues. The issues she brought up were happening outside of the warranty and after the purchase.

When she came in she did speak to our Sales Manager who offered to trade her out of the vehicle, into something that she would be more comfortable driving. Unfortunately, the vehicle that we had at that time was over her budget. Last month we had a Chevrolet Cruze come in trade that fit her budget and was able to be GM Certified. This would give ************** more warranty coverage and peace of mind. However, we needed certain documents to get the new loan approved. She was unwilling to provide those documents. We are more than willing to continue to work with ************** and trade her into something else.
