I am writing to file a formal complaint against ****** and their sales representative, *******************************, for misleading sales practices and misrepresentation of a solar panel system. I was initially assured by **** that the solar system would completely offset my electric bill. However, after installation, I discovered that the system is only capable of covering 60% of my electricity usage (they only guarantee 90%, which means the *** I would realize would be closer to 50%). This ***** discrepancy has left me with ongoing LARGE electric bills, contrary to the initial promise.When I asked **** about the situation, his explanation that the system's limited efficiency was due to the orientation of my roof is completely unfounded. My roof has no obstructions that would impact solar efficiency, such as trees or shading. This misleading justification raises serious concerns about the transparency and integrity of ******'s sales practices. I was given another quote for a system from another provider that would cover 120% of my electricity production!Additionally, **** did not inform me that the lease agreement I entered into would disqualify me from receiving any potential tax credits, a significant financial aspect of solar system installation. This omission of crucial information is deceptive and has financial implications for me as a consumer.Given these circumstances, I am requesting that ****** remove the solar panel system from my property, immediately. I believe I have been a victim of deceptive sales tactics and a lack of transparent information, leading to a financial burden and dissatisfaction with the service provided.I want them to remove the panels from my roof immediately.Business response

On May 5, 2023 I met with **************** for a solar consultation at her home in **********, **. She was referred to me by her friend, ***********************. She is LYING when she states that I did not explain the Lease, Loan (financing) and Cash options for going Solar. That is literally my job to explain the 3 options to each client and let them choose which route to take with NO PRESSURE! **************** was completely happy with her decision as you can see from the thumbs up picture she took with me that day. She also posted a 5-*********** Review for my company. I always thoroughly explain to my clients all three options for going Solar (cash, loan or lease) and each option is listed and described on my website as well. My company is Do it Right Solar, LLC. If she is not happy with ******* design, why is she allowed to take it out on me? My job is to explain how solar works and let her decide which route she wants to go. She agreed and signed contracts for everything. I spent 3 hours at her home that day going over each option. It was *********** decision to choose the lease PPA program. The tax credit, which is available for the cash and loan option, was thoroughly explained to her, but she expressed that the tax credit would not benefit her because she was on and off from work and didnt pay enough in taxes for it to be beneficial. She also seemed a bit upset that I did not sign up for her ************************* subscription where she wanted to market my company for a $400/month fee. Nothing against her, I just do not pay for leads. My business is referral based. Please let me know if you need any more proof on my end. I have attached proof of financing(loan) proposal that was created the day I met with her. I have over 300+ happy clients with not one complaint. I also have all 5-Star Reviews on ******* **************** is trying to tarnish my reputation making up lies and I have the proof.
