What a cheat! They sent *** as I had an emergency where I got stuck outside my house. It just so happened that the garage springs broke and I did not pick up keys for the quick errand I was running.The guy charged horrendous amount of money for the two springs to be replaced costing about **** buck$ total. Seeing on *********** these springs cost maybe 100 bucks each, while he charged me 854 bucks per spring.He also quoted 854*2 + 275 (labor) + 30 (consultation). Later once done, he added 200 dollars extra for opening the garage door. He opened only 1 foot to roll himself inside, he had to go in and open the front door for me. So this charge was ridiculous. He did not tell me about this 200 dollars extra just for opening when he dropped initially for consult.He also pushed me to immediately tell him if I want his service or not, while I said I want to check prices online. He wouldnt even open the garage. He also started talking about how the motor could be damaged and did nonsensical s*** to show as if it was not working. He even insisted I buy **** dollar motor from him right away. I unlocked the inside red handle mechanism so that the motor wont open the garage, but could be opened manually. Just trying to cheat me into getting to pay extra 3K bucks to get a motor fixed, which has been working perfectly fine for the past few hours after spring replacement.When I complained he charged extra 200 without telling me on top of labor and parts, he didn't agree and he was inside my garage opening/closing pretending to test the motor ??, so I paid as I had to get this guy out of my house somehow. I was in a desperate situation and went ahead with the payment of **** bucks for 2 springs; did whatever I needed to.When I also said I dont need the motor, I want to shop as your prices are expensive, he said I can do for **** under the table. ??
