            I had a similar situation I contracted them to put on a roof and shingles at my new home. While pending I got notice that the roof they put on for my other house in Oct. 22 had two leaks and I have video to prove it. They also put an escalation clause in my contract to replace plywood at $250 per sheet. I was afraid that since they undercut the competition by $25K, they would make it up in cost overruns. I heard about a simliar case where they did exactly that and overcharged the customer $19K for plywood. The going rate is $100 per sheet. Additionally, they wanted to begin work in January when ***** does roofing in January, there was infighting between the brothers and why would I hire someone who did a lousy job the first time. They hired an attoreny and are trying to keep $20K of my $50K deeposit for profit lost. They are in over their heads with a huge mortgage and overhead as they bought a new buildling and new trucks recently. Stay Away!
