      On September 3, 2021 I had an appraisal done on my home. The person doing the appraisal was through the refinance company and they used a third party agency. The appraisal came back in a good time-frame, but was incorrect for my home. Information within the appraisal was not accurate. It stated my home has not had upgrades. My home just had new vinyl floors installed less than 6 months ago. My home had a wall knocked down to make it an open concept. It stated my bathroom is outdated. This isn't true because the whole bathroom has been redone with paint, floors, and sink. The appraisal states there is not a refrigerator, washer, or dryer. I have all of these in my home. It also states that I have a garbage disposal, and that is not true. I do not have a garbage disposal. This report states that I have a one car drive-way and that is not true. My home was compared to homes in a different school district for pricing.

      Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

      I received a phone call this morning (10/04/2021) from Rocket Mortgage. They refuse to understand they did not send an appraiser to my home that did their job correctly. They are refusing to acknowledge the errors made within the appraisal and/or correct these errors. The errors made by the appraiser that Rocket Mortgage choose, prevented me from getting the loan I applied for. This is unacceptable and not a way to conduct a business. The opinion of the appraiser was biased and did not reflect my home or the neighborhood I reside in. At this point, I feel discriminated against and will continue to proceed with action. I was not treated fairly by Rocket Mortgage or Solidify (appraisal company).

      Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

      I have contacted Rocket Mortgage and they stated that you (SOLIDIFI) is unable to complete a different appraisal on my home. When will you be contacting them to arrange for this to happen? This is such a huge inconvenience and extremely disappointing that i have to go through BBB in order to get a response for anything. Please let me know what you find out after you speak with Rocket Mortgage about the incorrect appraisal. My phone number is ************ and that is how we can set up a new appraisal on my home.
