In November of 2022, I leased a new F150 through Flood Ford. Within a few weeks, I began noticing a loud intermittent vibration occurring mostly within cold temperatures, lasting anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. I notified the dealer to have it looked at and recorded a video of it, assuming it may be difficult to duplicate on demand with no seeming pattern. They informed me after a few days that they believed the issue was the vehicle partially engaging four wheel drive in error, but had not seen the problem before and needed to contact ****. I was told they believed it was safe to operate and after further questioning if they could guarantee the issue wouldnt leave me stuck on the road, they responded that there was no guarantee. After a month of much back and forth, little response, and no repairs, I inquired with sales about returning the vehicle since there seemed to be no viable solution besides returning to Service weekly. Sales informed me that they could offer me a lease of the same vehicle if I agreed to a higher price. I responded that I didnt feel comfortable being asked to pay more after I leased a brand new vehicle just weeks prior that appeared to have a defect. Their alternative options were for me to pay to exit the lease or contact **** independently and sell my case to them. The issue remains unresolved to this day.

To whom it may concern: Back in 2016 I purchased a new 2016 F150 Platinum that had some issues, VIN 1FTEW1EF7GFC77436. I filed a complaint with the BBB and was awarded an extended warranty that was supposed to be good till 11/22 or 72k miles. The vehicle was brought to Grieco Ford for transmission slippage and it was agreed upon that we start with flushing the transmission and changing the filter. Which cost me $400+ in which they did incorrectly. After a few days I noticed symptoms remained, and on 8/3/21 I brought it to my personal certified mechanic Pauls Truck Repair with about 66k miles on it. He repaired the vehicleby means of replacing the Transmission Range Sensor/Control. I submitted the bill as instructed by Ford Warranty Company to the dealer I purchased it from, and have yet to receive payment or even acknowledgement. What good is a warranty if they don't honor it? Every time my Vehicle goes to Ford it comes back worse off than when it went in.

********************** request for a refund was received by mail at Flood Ford on  8/18/2021 and was acknowledged by email on that day.  Also on 8/18/2021 a claim was initiated with **** and Lincoln Protect (the extended warranty administrator) for a refund per ********************** request.  The initial response from **** came on 10/18/2021 requesting additional documentation.  ****************** was apprised of this request via email on 10/19/2021.  Flood Ford is awaiting his response.

Please let it be noted that Flood Ford did neither sell the extended service contract nor perform the services in dispute, therefore ********************** complaint should not be directed at Flood, but should be with **** Motor Company.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

Their response was they asked me for receipts they already have. I originally sent them all receipts via mail.
They (*********************) said they would open a repair order and let me know what happens.  They responded to my BBB complaint by asking for receipts.
They have them, not only did I send them, they are in there system. The parts were bought from them.
The botched fluid flush... done by them ****** ****.  After speaking with ********************* I was told the part
in question was covered under warranty and I should submit the **** to the **** dealership I purchased the truck from
Flood Ford.  They said they want a letter to why I was not going to a **** dealer.  Why should I have to do that. as long as a go to a certified mechanic
it should be none of there business. I went to multiple dealers to fix this and they both gave me BS about warranty and couldn't get the codes
and how the truck sat for days waiting to be diagnosed after I had an appointment. Why would the truck sit for days when I had an appointment to bring it in.
Besides I did send a letter, Every time it goes to **** it comes back with more issues. There mechanics are lousy not to mention there service and attitude is poor, and non professional. My mechanic had the correct diagnosis within minutes.
The warranty is worthless when the first thing they say is we have to determine if its covered by the warranty and if its not I could be on the hook for up to 6 thousand dollars, if thats not a scare tactic then what is. Its warrantied, the vehicle obviously wasn't in a crash, abused or anything so how could it be the operators fault?... just fix it.
