Good Morning,On Saturday, September 30th 2023 I was in ******* ** with my son I was outside throwing away trash when a woman approached me, pretended to put a packet of lotion in my hand while she pulled me into her store with my son telling me how gorgeous I was, asked if I was from here etc. Proceeded to aggressively put salts on my hand to try to sell me sea salt scrub and lotion for $300. No matter now many times I told her no - she kept sitting me down, lowering the price, telling me it's **********, giving me compliments - it was so aggressive that I walked out spending $150 because yes I ended up feeling obliged now that I was cornered in a room with a woman that would not take not for an answer. I purchased the product and she sat me down again trying to get me to buy a serum that was $1000. I left and honestly started tearing up - I felt so taken advantage of, I can't afford to spend that kind of money on fake skincare. I looked up the product online and could only find the brand of the sea salt that sold for $68 a jar online not $150 - I could not find the lotion that she said she gave me for "free" - the receipt ended up being $169 and this is a complete scam. She was hugging me, giving me compliment after compliment it was so uncomfortable I have never felt taken advantage of this before. Maybe it's their culture but it's not ok with me. I walked back into the store 10 minutes later after I read the receipt and it didn't say anything about not accepting returns. When I went back in to exchange it - she said she does not take returns and was clearly scamming other customers that we also saw her drag into the store. We even heard one customer say wow you're good at talking people into things. I'm very upset, this is a scam, the product is not worth what they are selling it for. There are no prices, it's all a scam. I just want someone to be aware of this - and yes i do want to get my money back - most importantly I'm just so upset about their selling approach and fake storefront.
