      They don't even deserve a 1 star rating. Per recommendation of our homeowners insurance claims examiner I had called ServPro to come assess the mitigation needed in our home due to smoke damage from an incomplete combustion/puffback from our oil fired furnace. March 16, 2022 **************************, a representative from ServPro came to our home to start the process. ** assured us that Servpro was well trained and equipped to handle the damages our home had sustained. With the ok to proceed from the insurance company, they began the mitigation services on 3/21/22. The first crew set up 3 air scrubbers and began demo in the master bedroom by removing carpet, padding as well as insulation and ceiling tiles. At this point Cj assured us it was safe to remain in the home while mitigation was happening. They proceeded later that week by what they called cleaning the Hvac Ducts with a powered whip. They did not take any precautions to prevent debris from being dispersed through the entire home, my family and I were experiencing horrible symptoms from the particles released in the air during this process. We contacted our insurance company to inform them of this and we were relocated to a hotel. The crew that Servpro sent to clean our home was not from Servpro it was a sub contracted cleaning company that they hired to clean our home. This crew were not trained to take precautions towards the severity of a puffback. None of our belongings that were left in the home were covered, protected or removed to prevent cross contamination. They cleaned around them. I made my concerns known to the insurance company as well as Servpro. Another restoration company was hired by our insurance company to get a expert opinion and it was said the job was not done properly. 6.5 months in a hotel we moved home. It's been a nightmare since. Elevated amounts of soot still in my home.. and now mold per two lab reports. $41,000 CONTRACT PAID IN FULL.

      In July ********************************************** the attic. Servpro was hired. Approx 3 months later, although mitigation was done, I started smelling mold upstairs. Servpro denied this and walked away. As time went on the smell got stronger. Fast forward almost 7 months later, the smell is stronger still and I have been sick due to mold exposure. I believe a thorough job was not done and mold has grown in the attic and coming into the house. I need Servpro to come back and finish what they started.

      ********************* complaints where addressed. First we offered to reclean here HVAC system at no charge and she declined. I personally called ***************** and suggested she hire an Industrial Hygienist, after several calls, her adjuster and insurance carrier gave us the of to hire a third party Industrial Hygienist and that company was Occu-Health. Occu-Health went out and performed the testing in the areas of concern and entire HVAC system. There reports came back with no elevated findings of mold. That report was emailed to ***************** on January 28th. We did speak to ***************** to make sure she received it and understood there was no mold issue.

      terrible experience. i had servpro come in and do mold removal for me before the new year and they have ignored my attempts to have them complete the job and finish reconstruction of my only bathroom, guest bedroom and portion of my hallway. ************************* V.P. / Reconstruction Operations Manager is who My fiancee and I have been dealing with and have repeatedly been gas lighted by him in hopes of having the reconstruction of my interior home done. Numerous attempts at finding out where we stand/when can we have someone out to start, have been ignored or replied with "will be in touch with you very shortly to go over the next steps" only to be ignored after another follow up on my end. Due to the unprofessional, inhumane regard to the disaster recovery service on my home in the part of **************, it has resulted in my home insurance company dropping my coverage causeing stress to my fiancee and myself and feel it could have been avoided had ************** and servpro as a whole been committed to ensuring the job was comple in timely, efficient manner. In addition having an exposed cieling also resulted in higher, gas and energy bills during the winter and summer months because of heat escaping and needing to run a dehumidifier in the bathroom.
