The company fraudulently induced me into providing personal information and bank account information by falsely advertising that they issue loans without requiring tax documents. After 20 minutes of filling out online materials, linking bank accounts, providing personal information, and a rundown of assets showing $450K+ in cash, $1.1 Million in assets, and more than $1 million in annual deposits, the company proceeded to demand the very same tax documents that they advertised were not required. The reality is that if they need these materials from me, they are requesting them from the substantial majority of applicants because I am ridiculously overqualified for a ridiculously over-secured loan request (I was putting 50% down). As a result of their fraudulent advertising, I consented to a hard credit pull that will damage my credit and make it more difficult to access credit from legitimate lenders in the future. They should be shut down. What they're doing is the literal definition of fraudulent inducement. I will also be reporting them to the *****

Thank you for providing this information. We take these complaints seriously and would like to resolve this matter. We apologize for the error and misunderstanding. As discussed with our Chief Revenue Officer, when you applied online you were directed to our point of sale platform. This system runs through a set of questions for conventional loans and does request tax documentation as that is typically required for a conventional loan. As you stated, the loan product that you are looking for does not require tax documentation and you would not be required to provide that when going through the application process for that particular loan product. This issue is being researched in our system so that we can correct the question prompts based on the loan product type to ensure that the correct documentation is requested based on the particular loan product.
We have also submitted a request to the credit bureau to remove the hard credit pull from your credit report. Please be advised that it may take around 30 days for the credit bureau to process the request.
