Communication is ZERO. **** was ******* to get me signed up and get my bank account and has not replied since! None of the equipment was delivered. No one answers calls or emails. Im talking dozens and dozens of emails. *****************************, no response. Account was never active! Stay far away from this company.Upserve Response

To give them 1 star is actually a gift to them. this company called me numerous times to get onboarded and to sign a contract. once signed up we never got some of our equipment then could not get anyone on the phone for weeks. This was two years ago. System has crashed numerous times in the middle of a busy night and had to wait for hours on end to get customer rep on the phone., *********** now does everything by email and literally you can not speak to anyone., Recently, I was given a new with another POS system and little did I know they told me I signed a 3 year contract. I was never made aware of this term and it was glossed over maybe at some point. I am trying to speak to someone about some other options but they literally will not speak on the phone with anyone. All communication has to be done via email, I do not do business like this, I need options and want to speak to a human. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company, you will regret it.Upserve Response

The 3 year contact from 2021 is the original term in place through ****. For options, we can continue to assist you as needed. I see that our team offered to provide some equipment at no cost in order to help with the challenges you have on your current set up.Review from John K

By far the worst Point of Sale I have ever dealt with. They were very quick to get you on board to sign the contract. After that Radio Silence. We had to request our equipment thinking they would get it to us before our launch date. Nope. Install was a mess. Customer Support is non existent. Long waits. No Solutions. When filing Sales and Use taxes we caught that the software was not collecting the proper sales taxes. We tried contacting them about this and they put us on hold for 1.5 hours. Throughout this wait no one checked in to say we are working on it etc. We got disconnected from call then IMMEDIATATELY get an email said "It looks like the phone call we were working together in abruptly ended. "I wanted to check in to make sure you were all squared away! If you're still experiencing issues, please reach back out to Support via chat or phone to continue troubleshooting the issue. If we don't hear back from you in 48 hours, we'll move forward with closing this case." I called back right away and he said they see the issue but no solution. Said they would get back via email.After weeks later and multiple emails asking for a follow up NO response. Finally got another agent on call after waiting 30 min. She then goes to tell me Nothing on our case was worked on. Took down information said would follow up. When we got a reply they tried to convince us this was normal. Its just how the software rounds up. I broke it down for them. Sticking to their guns they just blatantly ignore emails now. They can keep changing their name all they want. Breadcrumb, Upserve, Lightspeed etc its all the same bull c*** DO NOT USE THEM!Review from Vanessa E

Upserve has no customer support. It takes upwards of 3 hours to get support. They want to charge us 18k to get out of our contract. No support once you sign. Their inventory software is horrible as well. Stay away.Review from Chris M

Have used Breadcrumb/Upserve for around 10 years now and have enjoyed their product. Within the last few months their customer support has been horrendous. Two and a half hour wait time on a day to day basis is unacceptable and unsustainable. Not sure what happened but when it comes to a restaurant POS, service and support is everything.Review from Rj D.

have upserve for a year - cannot run large reports .... they claim to be fixing it ( in december ) its march - they now offer work arounds , like only do three months at a time , then combine . The product does not work , and I do not think they care , you have to use the ' ***** for support and it ***** .Review from Aya O

We are unbelievably dissatisfied with Upserve. Basic functionality for a food service operation is not available for online ordering as promised. They tell you what you need to hear to get the sale and after the contract, it has been nothing but problems. My implementation process was a nightmare. With the exception of our training calls, everything was a mess. Now we are trying to get our online ordering system converted to Upserve and basic functions are unavailable and they insist on charging $30K to discontinue a service that they didn't even provide as discussed. I am very disgusted and disappointed considering we were so excited about the Upserve platform. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Run.Upserve Response
