Saturday, February 24 $6,500 deposit Replace one layer of rubber on the roof for $13,000 Further damage was discovered which the contractor said would be an extra $20,000. I asked them to stop the work immediately after 3 hours and they later refused to return any of the deposit.I have written the business several emails and texts trying to offer a solution. They did not respond other than to ask me to sign a waiver.Initial Complaint

January 2023 Milanovich Brothers Roofing was hired to fix a metal roof leak at ******************** for $8,000. I was assured that the ***** 887 Tropi-Cool 100% silicone coating that was recommended would solve the problem and the company was available to do the work immedately. The contract states in capital letters that THE ABOVE WORK HAS A MANUFACTURE LIFE-TIME MATERIAL WARRANTY. After only 5 months, the leaks began again. ****** Milanovich asked me on seveal occassions to write a a positive review for his company. I told him that I would after I saw if the product solved the leak. I am in possession of the text messages and emails from the beginning of our business. On June 14 he texted me to see if he could use me as a reference. On June 28th I texted him after a big storm to let him know that there is a leak still and asked when it could be fixed. After many weeks of back and forth, he informed me that the only way to fix it is to do another section for another $8,000. At that point I contacted another roofing company and obtained photos that clearly show that the product that had been applied by MB Roofing failed. The product had not been properly applied and had cracked. One photo shows the tip of a pen at a 3 inch crack at the very source of the leak. Also the photos indicate discoloration of the product over a section that *** have had rust, so the preparation was not done properly.With the stormy rainy season we have had, I continue to seek resolution from ****** and every time he states that he will come, he does not. I have continued rain damage on the interior of the property. He has strung me along for 2 months and I am now seeking outside resolution.Aug. 18, Partner ****** called and stated he was unaware of the situation but that they would be at the property to fix it 8/21 9-11am. No show again. I have no confidence that they would fix. I want the $8,000 back so that I can pay another roofer to fix this leak.9 photos attached.Customer response

The company must have received the complaint from BBB because they contacted me to resolve the problem. ****** made an appointment for Monday morning knowing i could not be there. At 1pm i contacted him to find the status. He claimed the weather wasnt good at which time i texted him the weather forecast which was dry since it was a sunny day. He claimed that the next day was rain and the cure time was longer. I have ************** for the ************-cool product and the cure time is 4-6 hours.
After 2 months of being told they would show and not showing i have no recourse for the $8,000 paid to them January 2023 for a job that had failed by June.
MB Roofing, ****** and ****** Milanovich will make you feel that they will take care of you by discussing their inheritance of their fathers business, their work ethic and pride but will not stand by their work or product that carries a lifetime warranty.
when i asked ****** if the issue was product failure or application he stated that he wouldnt know until he saw it. Untrustworthy company.Initial Complaint

04/2020 Had new flat roof installed with 15 year Warranty and annual inspections.Milanovich Brothers Roofing has not performed the annual inspection. This company will not answer or return calls or emails about doing this inspection.Requesting The **** BBB assistance this is a particular hardship as I am the house owner an elderly person of the age of 78 years.Thank You **************************** Please inform me as to how this should go forward.
