I was late paying off my car taxes this year. I got a delinquent statement in the mail from Rossi Law Offices stating how much I owe. Im not too educated on this stuff, and that lawyer letter seemed legit, so I went on the website and payed off $142.50 on May 30. I even got an emailed receipt. I thought I was all set, but Im just finding out that money was never sent to my town/DMV, and I apparently still owe that same amount in taxes. Rossi Law Offices has made no effort to contact me back and I cant get a hold of them. After research, I found several others complaining with similar problems to me.

This person's payment as all payments made to this firm are reported and remitted to our clients in a timely and highly accurate manner. Any claim that implies that we did not properly report a payment is utterly false. The payment has been reported to our client and 0 balance statements have been mailed to the address on file.Initial Complaint

I received a collection letter from this collection agency about a medical **** incurred from ***** Urology. I have never been seen by ***** urology. However, if the collection agency believes I am the rightful owner of this debt, they should provide me with the following items as required by FCRA.1. Original contract from ***** Urology that shows my signature and the date it was signed 2. The original invoice that shows the charged amount 3. The name and signature of the authorized personnel from ***** Urology who authorized the service or provided the service.If this collection cannot provide me with this information, they should cease and desist from contacting me or my credit profile.Business response

**************** sought the services of a client of this law firm, **********************., and for which our client is seeking payment for those services from ***************. We sent to **************** one notice as prescribed by the CFPB.
**************** has never contacted this law firm. The first contact we had from him is through this BBB complaint and no other communication.
The services were rendered to **************** on December 13, 2019 at the offices of our client at *******************************, **********,**.
A redacted **** for services in the sum of $198.61 is attached. This **** is for 2 charges:$195.37 and $3.24 which amounts were determined by Mr. ******* health insurer to be applied to his deductible under the terms of his health insurance contract with his insurer. Payment of the deductible amounts is the responsibility of the insured.
Also attached is a redacted copy of the Consent Form signed by ****************.
