Hello, spring of 2023 I sent out a cashmere ***** colored sweater out to be dry cleaned. The sweater was purchased by my teenage daughter with her hard earned money from the summer before. She loved that sweater and she was so proud of herself that she purchased it by herself for $100 dollars from Bloomingdales. Well I sent it out to Pier Cleaners and when they dropped it off my daughter looked at it and almost cried when she saw that the sweater had been shrunk to the size of a belly shirt. I called Pier Cleaners and was connected to ****** the route manager. He said **** our delivery man would come right away and pick up the sweater and they would see if their was anything they could do. They sent it back and admitted there was nothing they could do. I said to ****** in a phone call that I wanted a reimbursement bc it was my daughters money. ****** said he would snail mail me the complaint form and they would reimburse us Well after many phone calls for months he never sent forms. Just last week I talked to him and he said He would email me the forms immediatly but they never came. I called him one last time and said I would publish a bad review and contact BBB. I hate being made a fool of but considering this $100 is my daughters hard earned money I am really upset and at this point I just want a check made out to my daughter for a refund non of this bs about forms to fill out that never show up. We were good customers even though occansinly we would get back worse items than we had sent out. Everyone I talked to about my experience confirms that Pier Cleaners is not a trustworthy business Please help me get back my daughters sweater and quell my feelings of being made a fool. Hello,I sent the attached letter on November 5 to Pier Cleaners - I received a delivery confirmation from ***** I have not received a response. It is clearly the dry cleaners fault/error and they have neither apologized nor accepted responsibility.Thank you,*******Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I sent them the letter originally on 11/05/2021. I did not hear from them. I then filed a complaint with BBB on 12/1/21 and I still have not received a response from the business
