I some how signed up for a trial over a year ago for a credit monitoring service. The company that is charging my card is crdfx.com but when I called their customer service they said I signed up for checkfreescore.com. I am not sure if I cancelled the trial but after over a year they are still trying to take payments out of my account even when they had 65 failed attempts. I dont understand how you can continue to try to take payments when you had so many failed attempts. The credit card that was used for the free trial was my cash app card. I do not use this card because I just use the service to send and receive money and its very seldom few times that I actually use this service. I did not realize all these transactions before because I truly dont use the account. I only notice it because someone sent me money to that account without even telling me they were sending the funds. When I looked I was charged on May 26, 2023 -$9.95, June 02,2023 -$39.90 and June 06, 2023 - $39.90. The trial was opened March 04, 2022. **************** told me I have not logged into the account since the day I signed up for the trial back in March of 2022. After all those failed attempts for over a year, I was still charged when I was not even aware that this account was even still open. I was also told that an email was sent to me when I signed up for the trial but I have no such email. I have checked my junk mail, spam mail and even my deleted mail. Could not find the email. After an hour on the phone, requesting to speak to a supervisor and threatening to file a complaint to regulatory bodies, the company finally submitted a request to get a refund that still has to be reviewed. I have also tried to review the terms and conditions but the link on crdfx.com but the link they have on the website does not work. How can someone review terms and conditions if its not accessible?! This is borderline fraud! This company should be investigated!Review from Barbara T.

I never signed up for it but I guess it was apart of a subscription I didnt fully read. They have been trying to charge my debit card 39.90$ everyday since , I keep calling no answer to cancel. And you can only cancel by calling how much of a rip off is that .

We appreciate the customers concern, but one cannot accidentally sign up for our service. To sign up on must provide a social security number, birth date and written authorization to obtain a credit report (as well as accepting our terms and conditions as well as privacy policy) directly on our site. We also require the customer authentic their identity through a third party credit bureau.In reference to cancellation, there are two methods: a toll-free number (listed on each page of the site, listed on this BBB review and listed on each charge on their bank statement), as well as online.Bottom-line: You can't sign up by mistake and cancellation is easy. I posted this before I cancelled and once again no I didnt sign up on your website at all. I literally said to the representative your subscription was ok another website and thats how you get your business, because most people dont know youre going to continuously charge them 39$. Also, I called for a week before anyone picked up the phone. Youre going to have people dislike your business and I did before I FINALLY got in touch. But good for you for defending your business I cant imagine how many people have upset you because the same thing that happened to me happened to them. :)
