Company was hired back in September of 2023 to complete a job on my property. Company required a 75% deposit which amounted to $14,025. A contract was signed and company stated they would call once work was about to commence. *** had to constantly call, as well as my partner trying to get a date of when work will be completed. I have a voicemail from company stating work would start January 22nd. My partner called the week of February 26th and was told work would start march 4th. ******* time a call was placed a new excuse was given and we were informed the owner of the business would call us, we have never received a call from owner and every time work was said to start, no notice was given when they didnt show up. We have called over 30 times since September trying to get work completed and have gotten nothing done. There is also no permit pulled for my property on towns website which is needed prior to starting to work. They lied to my wife attention and said permit would not show up on towns website which is not true. Im requesting for work to start as soon as possible with no more delays since I also have a deadline as to when work needs to be completed with my mortgage company.Business response

Before we could start the job, we had to wait for the Town of ************ to lift a ban on cutting open the street. The job was started and we hit ledge (rock) so we had to rent specialized equipment to resolve the issue. It took a while to break the ledge. Ledge is the rock you see on I-295. There were several days of rain. We also had a labor shortage during this time and that contributed to the delay.
We are scheduled to finish this job by Friday of this week. We are deeply sorry it took this long. That's not our normal time period for a job such as this.

We were out there on 2/3/22. We snaked the line and found mega roots, etc. We went back and high velocity water jetted the line and were able to clear it. *********** tech told him he couldn't guarantee the line and he should think about replacing the line. *r. * paid us for the job. The job was done. We are confused why he thinks we didn't finish the job. I have the sales receipt. We have no record of any further communication from *r. * since. If you want a copy of the sales receipt I can provide one. C A Diffley, President
