On December 8 I pulled into **** Gardens to provide assistant to my client from 2 PM to 6 PM. I seen there was a sign with an arrow that said visitor parking so I thought the whole roll was visitor parking. I came out of my clients house at 6 PM to a sticker on my drivers side window from management. The sticker stated that I am not supposed to park there. That is a resident parking. I attempted to remove that sticker but it was was frozen to my window. I spoke with management at **** Gardens the next morning they stated I needed to use a razor and warm water I told management I dont feel comfortable using a razor on my window because I dont know what Im doing. She proceeded to walk away from me and tell me well next time dont park in that parking space. I called ********* police they went inside **** Gardens came out with a sponge and warm, soapy water to help me remove the sticker. The officer and I proceeded to remove the sticker with the warm, soapy water and a sponge we attempted to use the yellow side of the sponge the sticker would not come off, it was completely frozen to my window. The officer and I had to use the green side of the sponge to remove the sticker because it was frozen into my window. My window on my driver side sustained multiple scratches from attempting to remove the sticker. I just bought my car less than a month ago. I spoke with ***** from management. He stated that the reason they stick the sticker on the window is because people in the past have claimed they didnt receive the notice when it was stuck under the windshield wiper. I got an estimate for my damages. It comes to $385 to repair the scratches on my driver side window , I am willing to file a civil suit against the company because this is unacceptable. Sticking a sticker on someones driver side window obstructing their view in 30 below weather of course it will freeze to the window.
