Date of intake: 2/28/23 Date of statement: 3/18/23 Total Amount Due: $225.00 - Coded as 'integrated biopsychosocial assessment, history, status, recommendations'. The intake was purely admin intake, no recommendations other than to sign releases for records for Hospital and Psychologist. No follow-up, no second appointment scheduled. - I was told to complete the releases and sent back on 2/28/23. - I have not received any follow-up since the 2/28/23 intake call from Arcara Personalized Psychiatry.- I have confirmed with my outside treating providers that no effort has been made to obtain my medical records since signing the releases on 2/28/23. - Upon receiving the bill, I reached out to Arcara daily and left voicemails with their billing and office admin teams to discuss the bill and the status of my file on 3/19/23, 3/20,23, 3/21/23, and again on 3/27/23 with no return calls.- On the office administrator's voicemail, she notes to reach out in the portal for service however I have never been granted access to the portal other than to pay the outstanding invoice in question.- I was not advised on the intake visit having a charge, nor did I sign anything granting Arcara to submit to my insurance. - I have no recourse to speak to anyone about this outstanding bill nor have I received any follow-up care for a critical condition that I now must seek a different practice to treat as I will not work this clinic due to their questionable practices and inability to follow-up with patients.
