We have two deck doors that need to be replaced so we had ProEdge come out to take measurements and provide a quote. The appointment was for 6:30pm and I figured it would only take a half hour or so. Instead the sales rep went through a ridiculously long presentation (even after we stressed that we wanted to make this quick as it was dinner time and our son hadn't eaten) about the company's history, comparing their technology to their competitors, ASKING US HOW MUCH WE PAID IN ENERGY COSTS and what other work we'd had done, etc. By the time we got to product selection 90 minutes had already elapsed, and then came the price quote. Let me preface by saying we had 22 windows replaced in our home two years ago (through another company) and it cost approximately $35k. For twenty-two windows. ProEdge wanted $20k for TWO sliding glass doors. We told the rep that was far too pricey, and only then did he "realize he'd made a mistake" and "corrected" the quote to be $16k. We said that was still too high and that we'd look elsewhere, and then he turned into a haggling car salesman. He asked what price we were hoping for and after doing a little digging we said $10k. He made a phone call and said he could match that price, but only if we agreed to write a "testimonial" which he offered to write for us. By then over two hours had gone by and we declined the offer, and he still kept trying to convince us otherwise. Finally he took the loss but asked us to "rate" their company and their product - yes, rate a product we didn't actually purchase.Do not do business with this shady, pushy, sleazy company. They clearly ask you questions about your expenses to gauge how much they can upcharge you, and only drop the price when you push back and are willing to publicly praise them, or pretend they made a mistake when calculating. Absolute slimeball tactics.Review from Diane F

My HOA has not approved the installation of the windows and they were very clear with Proedge as to the reason why. We have been reaching out to Proedge and there has been no further response. I emailed that I needed to know something so I could terminate this order and not have someone show up at my door to install windows and/or being charged for windows that have not been installed. I would love to get my deposit back, if possible, since my HOA is denying the service. Proedge has not given them the documentation they've been looking for to approve the work. I recently reached out to one of the salesmen that came out and I've gotten no response. I regret signing on, but when you have two people in your house, staring you down and not trying to leave, you make decisions under pressure. I wish you weren't forced to make a decision before getting approval from the **** I know for next time. I'm thankful that my HOA is looking out for me and didn't want me to possibly end up with a purchase I'd regret. I'd just like to hear from someone that they have canceled the job and that I can get my deposit back.Review from Karim H

We had a rep come to our home to price out windows. At first he was a normal sales guy going through the window basics, checking out current windows and providing us with options. For the main window in living room, my wife wanted a bay window. The rep told us that they couldn't do a bay, and that a bow would be the next best option. After some back and forth and after seeing how much all the windows would cost, we decided on the bow window, but told the rep we had other companies coming to quote us. This is when things went left, he then turned into a pushy sales person, telling us that their costs were better than most, and started bad mouthing competitors in a "nice" way. We felt like we were in a car dealership, but the excitement of redoing the window won over, and my wife and I put down a deposit. After some time and research we did find better options at more affordable prices. We reached out to the corporate office after the 3 day window, and they insisted that there was nothing they could do. We find this hard to believe as the windows were not slated to be ready until February. We feel like the rep misinformed us, which is a bad sales practice. We are working on getting an attorney to cancel this, as my wife does not want the window.Review from Rita R

************ In Nov, 2021 I had all my windows replaced by Pro Edge Windows and a new doorway cut and a new door installed. At the end of the day when the installers were leaving, I noticed they had not cleaned the windows. When I brought this to their attention, they tried to clean the windows but there were smudges between the window panes that could not be cleaned. Pro Edge sent a rep out to inspect the windows and he said the glass would have to be replaced. After repeated calls to Pro Edge with multiple people coming out to inspect the windows, the glass has still not been changed. The door that was cut and installed was too short. It was suppose to match the style and height of our back door. This is a hazard as my son is very tall and hits his head on the top of the entry way. The sales manager has sent multiple people to look at the door but keep saying it was my fault for not being specific about the height. The door frame was built up on the top to aestheticly appear to be the same height. Pro Edge is no longer returning my calls.Review from Joanne G

We purchased 3 sets of windows to be replaced over 3 years time. 3 were replaced in 2018, 3 were replaced in ********************************* 2019. While I have no issues with the picture window, the other 6 are another matter. First off, after the windows were installed, there was no demonstration by the installers. So later down the road I wanted to clean the windows, I was unable to slide up the screens. Called the merchant, they sent someone out some time later to measure and take pictures. Waited weeks for a response. Called again, waited weeks. Called again, someone came out again to measure and take pictures. Waited weeks for a response. Called again. Someone came out with new screens. They were all too small. Leaving a 1/4 inch gap at the top of the screen. Guy left, waited weeks yet again for a response. Finally the Director of Installations called and came out to, yet again, measure and take pictures. Never heard back from him, Left 3-4 messages. Contacted the Install Coordinator via email. I am now asking for new windows to replace the ones I can't open because the screens are too small and let in every bug known. I've had it with this company!Proedge Remodeling Inc Response
