The next time Bart had to come out was because the pipe from the tub drain was not long enough to reach a fitting that led to another pipe in the wall. Instead of using the proper length of pipe, Bart installed the shorter pipe at such an extreme angle into the fitting, that it started to leak and caused more water damage to the dry wall in our new home. There were huge puddles on the downstairs bedroom floor that came through the ceiling. We had to have an emergency service come in and replace the damage to prevent mold.
When he came to fix that mistake, I asked him to make sure the overflow drain at the top of the tub was working because it seemed to be draining slow if at all.
7 months later the tub ran too long and started to overflow onto the floor of the bathroom. It turns out the overflow drain still had the safety plug installed so no water could drain out. I called Bart to have him come out and knock the plug out. His response was, "You really shouldn't let the tub run". So his excuse was it was my fault for letting the tub run instead of owning up to his sloppy work ethic and not doing the job he said he was going to do.
The one good thing I will say about Bart is he always comes out to fix his mistakes at no charge.
I chose to have a different plumber come out and fix the overflow drain.
I would not recommend Advance Plumbing to anyone.
