    My experience here was the worst in my entire life and I was a homeless for a great portion of it. From living in the smell of a dead resident under my apartment to getting locked inside my own room that locks from my side of i This place is the absolute worst. Maintenance are really nice people, but they aren't great at what they do no matter what. When I first moved in, they showed me an apartment that looked nice, then they said you cant have that one but we do have one better just like it. I really needed a place and I went for it. MY MISTAKE. Dead Roaches just covered up by paint on the walls, exposed electrical wires, and I couldn't even open my door for 5 hours until I learned the trick to opening it. One morning after leaving the apartment, I went to lock it and the center of the deadbolt just fell out, I had to wait for maintenance to come help me fix it, I left my phone inside my house and couldn't call anyone too, I had to drive to the main location to find someone who could help. A man passed away in the apartment below me, and sat there for close to 3 weeks before anyone did anything about it, All of my neighbors moved out after that, the smell was unbearable and all they offered was counseling for the trauma. Regardless, I can go on and on about my experiences here including the car jackings. But I suggest someone needs to get this place shut down, they don't know how to run an office, and for 1000$ a month for 2 bedrooms, without all of the amenities I paid for, like the laundromat, the pool, and the gym. It feels like highway robbery.

    We are very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience at Hartwell Cove Apartments. We take your feedback and comments seriously and have looked into the complaints listed in your review. Upon an audit of your file, we found the following. At move in you listed several items on your move-in/move out inspection form. A work order was created for all maintenance issues. The repairs were completed. There is no record of a call back for incomplete items. This is the same for the 6 other work orders on file that were submitted and attended to during your tenancy. All were completed and there were no call backs to the contrary. Your review made note of roaches. Listed on the Move-in/Move out Inspection form was a note regarding 'A" roach that was seen under the kitchen sink. We have found no records of additional complaints of roaches in your unit. The apartments are serviced routinely on a quarterly basis with pest control. There are no records from our pest control vendor that additional treatments and/or a roach clean out were necessary for your apartment. We do understand that the passing of a neighboring resident can be uncomfortable and disheartening. Per the lease, residents are entitled to peaceable enjoyment of their apartment home. Unless we are requested to attend to a work order, complete routine service that is scheduled, or some other issue which requires our presence, we do not enter any resident's apartments. After the deceased resident was discovered over a weekend in November, the proper authorities were immediately called, and all necessary protocols were followed. There is documentation readily available to validate that the deceased was not left unattended for 3 weeks and all required care and cleaning was handled by a licensed 3rd party vendor who specializes in these matters. We have not found any other communication from you with other issues during your residency with us. Our files are available for your review at any time. If our records differ from yours, we welcome the opportunity to compare and contrast our files with yours and hope you will submit them to us so that we may do so that we may come to a better understanding of the facts.
