Went to family auto to Traded in my truck for another truck on November 24, 2023 with a warranty, $420 a month or $230 biweekly. But ever since then, Harassing and repeatedly calling leaving messages saying I’m 2 months late with payment to clean out my truck for repossession pick up, when I’m actually only 2 or 3 days late. The amount has been different… and I had to go bring the truck in to see about a knocking when I hit the brakes in the rear end from a pothole, (which they wouldn’t fix) they refused to give me back My keys said I was over 10 days late, and I was only two days late, but they refused to give me back my keys until I made the payment that I wasn’t even supposed to be considered late on yet. And I have asked repeatedly for my contract/ agreement. They only pointed and read certain parts but still never gave me my copy said out was emailed to me. But it wasn’t. I’ve also told them 3 different times my paid period is biweekly, and they have not got me on the right one yet last, one payment said family auto and the other payments were auto acceptance. I recently lost my husband and having to work and deal with probate and attorneys with life insurance and mortgage, etc…. So, them sending me text message after text message and saying clean your car out. The repo man is on the way, scaring the crap out of me and threatening me is tearing up my nerves, trying to finger out how to get to work or my son to school. I don’t understand why when I again shouldn’t even be considered late.

We appreciate Mrs. ****** business and regret to hear that she is not satisfied. On 11/24/2023 Mrs. **** traded in her 2000 ***** ****** truck and was allowed $1,601 towards her purchase. Along with her trade Mrs. **** made a down payment to Family Auto of Anderson, LLC in the amount of $400 to purchase a 2008 ****** ********.  As contracted, Mrs. ****** payments were to be made on a bi-weekly schedule beginning with the first payment OF $210 plus $36 for Collateral Protection Insurance due on 12/8/2023 and every other Friday after that until the loan is satisfied.
Mrs. **** was never offered a monthly payment. Mrs. **** was being paid on a biweekly schedule and that’s how her payments were contracted. Mrs. **** was 4 days past due on her 1st payment, 8 days past due on her 2nd payment. Mrs. **** is currently 17 days late on her 3rd payment and 3 days past due on her 4th payment. Mrs. ****** past due amount is $502.50. We do not have a grace period for past due payments, when a customer is 1 day past due on their account, their account manager reaches out to the customer about their payment by phone. Reminder text messages are sent daily to prompt a phone call from the customer.
On 1/18/2024 Mrs. **** visited the office to discuss her account, Mrs. **** asked for a copy of her contract, at that time Janell Smith, Mrs. ****** account manager printed a copy of Mrs. ****** contract and gave it to her personally.
On 12/9/2023 Mrs. ****** cell was called, she said that she told Brad (her salesman) that she started a new job and did not know when her first check would be, she was told that her account is a brand-new account and we can’t hold her account, Mrs. **** stated she was going to see if she can borrow the money and call us back on Monday. This was Mrs. ****** first payment.
On 12/11/2023 Mrs. **** visited the office stating she would have the payment made on 12/12/2023. The payment was made on 12/12/2023, 4 days past due.
On 12/30/2023 Mrs. **** was called on her cell phone about her payment that was 8 days past due. Mrs. **** stated she would be in the office at 2pm to make the payment. The payment was made on 12/30/2023, 8 days past due.
On 1/6/2024 Mrs. **** called the office about her payment, stated she only had $100 of her $210 payment. Mrs. **** was advised that we can’t take less than the full payment amount. Mrs. **** stated she didn’t have that and will be sending in proof of paystub.
On 1/18/2024 Mrs. **** called asking about her payments. Mrs. **** was explained that her account is 13 days past due with another payment coming due 1/19/2024. Mrs. **** didn’t understand. She was asked to visit the office. Mrs. **** stated she would by 3pm.
On 1/19/2024 Mrs. **** came to the office to discuss her account. She stated she would pay the past due of $256.50 1/20/2024 and was going to file for unemployment. She would see what she could come up with and let us know. The arrangement for $256.50 on 1/20/2024 was not met.
Anderson Auto of Anderson LLC’s employees have in no way threatened Mrs. ****.
We will be happy to provide Mrs. **** with a detailed payment history per her request.
