            Business: Clean Cut Concrete & Landscaping LLC PO BOX# 2233 Batesburg, SC 29006 Gary B**** *** *** ******** Gilbert, SC 29054 (803) ******** DO NOT BELIEVE HER IS LICENSED WITH LLR SUMMARY: I hired Clean Cut Concrete to install an extension to my existing driveway. The dimensions of the new concrete pour are 25 ft by 15 ft and to be completed on 11-15-22. The quoted price was to be $1,850. I worked with the owner, Gary B****, however he had a sub, Mike, do the prep work and manage the pour the day of. RESOLUTION: Refund of my $1000 deposit so I can pay a professional company to fix the problem Otherwise I will have to do so in court. PRIOR TO INSTALLATION: PITCH CONFIRMATION I reached out to the owner of the business to confirm the “pitch” of the new driveway was going to be away from my house (left side) and away from my back yard brick wall entrance / gate (back side). The owner, Gary B****, confirmed “yes” it will be pitched down (away from the back yard wall) matching the “grade” of the existing driveway and to the “right” away from the house. NOTES: (1) Pitch is critically important because you do not want water running towards the house or brick wall. Puddling creates a nuisance, a mess, and damage (Mold & foundation). (2) 2021: I hired CCC to pour a 30’x15’ patio in the rear of my house. It was done so poorly the only way to fix the problem was tear it up and re-pour. Same situation: I confirmed with Gary that the pitch would be away from my house and no puddling. It was horrible After conversation we agreed the only solution was to tear it all up and re-pour (3) I re-hired Gary’s company for the new job because (1) he fixed the patio and lost most of the profit in doing so (2) I figured no way he would mess up this simple pour (4) I got a great deal I should have never re-hired him for the driveway addition ATTACHED: (1) My complaint: with communications and photos (2) Facebook Complaint I found on his business profile

            My concrete pad that he poured was unlevel..My fireplace pad, sidewalk had several chips in the concrete and several issues with the concrete. I paid him in cash before before the issues were fixed. He assured me they would get done. Then I needed a driveway poured and he assured me that my issues would be fixed once he got all that done. When he was ripping up my driveway right next to my chimney it was chipping my brick and I told him to stop because I was afraid that it would damage my foundation. So I asked him to leave 3 sections of concrete alone because it was extra thick and too close to my foundation. I was getting a driveway done and a pad for my camper. On the day of pouring he decided to bring the concrete truck over my old concrete to pour my pad for my camper instead of using his machine that manually brought the concrete to my back yard. He used that machine the first time he poured. My old concrete had no cracks in it and after the truck ran over it,it cracked in numerous cracks and huge splits. Again on the day of the poor he Insisted that I pay him in full, and he assured me once my driveway was dry that he would come back and fix all of my issues. After being tired of waiting, I asked him if he had a grinder.He brought me a hand grinder and cement fill the next day..I used it for one day to fix the driveway issues. There we several issues with my driveway that were apparent. Low spots, huge chunks, ect. I tried to patch the low spots, the chunks and my old driveway with Cement All filler. He came back the next day to get his grinder and I still had all the other issues in the back from the old poor. He never called me back he never contacted me again. So I went out and bought my own grinder and fixed everything myself. None of the issues got solved, he never called a check on me and he never came back. Once he gets his money he's gone. He promises he can fix everything, but it will never happen. Beware
