We had a home built with this company and purchase back in 2021. Through our warranty, repairs to the home were supposed to be made. We have a window in our home that leaks when there are bad storms. We have a crooked wall in the bathroom. They were supposed to come back and repaint the home and fix the imperfections they left in the home in their rush to move on to the next project. The window is getting worse with every storm, especially hurricanes and tropical storms. Village Park Homes cant be bothered to get their contractors out to complete repairs. If they call, its a day before and we have no time to make arrangements. When they do come out, they make matters worse. They repaired a toilet issue but the toilet now sits uneven and leaks. The home costs way more than the trouble its worth to deal with poorly skilled builders.

It has been nine months since we closed and the 30 day punch list is still not complete. I have contacted the company numerous times via email and telephone to fix these items that were identified before closing and they have done next to nothing. I have had two windows in my garage since May due two windows being damaged and required replacing. Additionally, I have grout that is missing in my master bath, a scratched master tub, paint on the floors in numerous places, door weather stripping that was not installed correctly, exterior patio doors that are not sealed and bugs are getting into the house, uneven floors they say are within standards but the LVP flooring visibly flexes when walking on it, dresser in master bedroom has to be 3” from the wall or the top will hit the wall because floors are so uneven, LVP flooring cut too short in master bath that was just filled with caulk, excessive grout hanging off trim in master, unsealed master bath shower drain, unsealed master tub drain, damaged exterior hardiplank, utility yard door is starting to separate from fence it is connected to. Additionally, they put the wrong trusses on the house and claimed they messed up and we had to settle with a floor plan modification and we lost our attic because the trusses they installed weren’t weight bearing. Lastly, they slipped a significant price increase on us less than a week from closing and gave us 72 hours to agree to it or they’d give us our deposit back and sell it to someone else. I asked for invoices to justify the price increase and they refused to give me the information. There are many, many other issues that remain to be fixed at our house but these are the “big ticket” items. I can’t tell you how poor the quality of construction is on our house. Currently having exterior handiplank inspection for missing flashing between and behind boards, if it’s not there then that will get very expensive.

I have texted the new warranty lead (*** *****) multiple times and sent pics of the tub and he has not responded.  They completed the window replacements but did not secure a permit from the town and did the work without a valid permit and the trim may have to be taken off again.  There are multiple other issues with the house to include missing grout in the master bath and flooring that was not installed correctly.  The hardiboard inspection was never completed and I am in the process of getting a certified inspector to look at it as the siding is starting to bow because it was not installed correctly.  This company is absolutely terrible.

We signed a contract with Village Park Homes 3/7/2021 on a house that had already started construction. Our original closing date was presented as 7/30/2021. The house sat open to the elements for months. In July our date was moved to November, In November it was moved to March 2022. in March we were given a June date and as we approached June we were told the " New " in charge would not give a future date. We were pushing to move in as we were quickly approaching 12 months after original date. We pushed to try and get in by the end of August. The day before the closing they could not get the occupancy permit as the inspector found several issues. Workers came in and ripped off tile and fixed outlets and made a couple of other changes. The inspector came back the morning of the closing and passed it. We closed 8/31/22. We submitted our punch list early October a couple of the items have been addressed, but 2 items 1. a broken window that has been broken for over a year. and 2. The stucco on the backside of the house is a mess and needs to be repaired. I emailed ***** ****** that is in charge of our property 8 weeks ago about these 2 items and asked that she call me or email me with an update on when these items might be taken care of. I had no response so I waited 3 more weeks and emailed her again asking for a call or email in response to my email and nothing again!!! I have also cc'd her boss ****** who tells me she knows nothing about our property. If I had it to do over again I would have never worked with Village Park Homes or now Dream Home Finders. We are one of three houses in our neighborhood that are all the same and all of us have had way too many issues. It is a shame that this has turned out this way.

We purchased our home in 2021 with the agreement it would be completed in Oct. of 2021. It has taken 20 months to close on our property and now we are trying to work with the builder to resolve structural and cosmetic issues with our home and they keep failing to follow through. We are constantly making phone calls, sending emails, and having face to face conversations that always end with no resolution. We are frustrated and exhausted by the fraud and misrepresentation we have endured. Dream Home Finders says they are committed to facilitate with ongoing problems and concerns and their words do not equal action. We learned about the negative reputation after we signed our contracts, All builders have had complications with covid and they seem to be able to complete their homes in a much more reasonable time frame than Dream Home Finders. We also had 2 home owner inspections prior to closing and many of the things on the list are still not addressed or said they resolved and were proven to be a lie. My family and I deserve the home and warranty we were sold. We are extremely disappointed in our home builder and misleading us in our purchase.

We purchased a new construction home from Dream Finders in August 2022. On the day of closing we were asked to complete a 30 Day Punch List in which we listed any issues that we were aware of in regards to the home. Additionally we were asked to "blue tape" the home in terms of wall, tile, cabinet, and other issues that they would come back to correct. We have waited patiently; however, they have not completed our 30 Day Punch List or "blue tape" items. They have transferred us from department to department in terms of ownership and no progress is being made. A rep from their Warranty Department toured our home with us and now we're being told that a number of issues that were promised on the 30 Day Punch List/ "blue tape" list will not be resolved. A number of these issues are in writing and we're still meeting resistance. We really just want some help as we feel like we entered a contract with them and held up our end of the bargain by paying for the home. They are not holding up their end of the agreement by finishing/fixing the home as discussed verbally and in writing.

We moved into our home in November of 2020 and filed for our 11 month repair/touch up in August of 2021 (for November). We are currently more than six months over due. Village Park contacts in email correspondence reply with every excuse possible; "I'll contact this person to set it up," "the paints are booked 5 weeks out," "the scheduler scheduled the wrong type of appointment for you," etc. Its just an endless back and forth with them. A neighbor that moved in 6 months after us, just got their 11 month/year touch up/repair completed. Who is working the schedule over at Village Park? I don't think they understand how scheduling works. All I want is for Village Park to execute on their warranty that came with the house. I just want them to do what they said they would do.
