The lawn care services enjoyed for years as performed by ****** ****** *** ******* of Boiling Springs were transferred to George B****** of 4 Point Lawn Care at the end of May 2022 due to personnel shortages at ******. We ( my neighbor and me) were assured personally by George the services performed by Franks would continue, and were asked to pay for the month of June in advance ($450 for 5 visits). The first service was acceptable. 2nd service was wholely unacceptable with my neighbor's lawn left with scalped stripes due to being horizontally mowed on a hill. My lawn was barely touched, and edging was not performed on either property. 3rd service was completely unacceptable. While not cutting my lawn (mower raised to at least 4" on a zoysia lawn where the only grass impacted was that under the wheels of the mower, I approached the worker who argued he had been instructed to cut at 4" and that was all he would do. I expressed dissatisfaction the grass wasn't being cut and he exploded - walking off the property. After speaking with George Brunson, they returned and completed the service, albeit not to the quality level already demonstrated by Franks'. The 4th visit was also mediocre for my lawn, without edging or weeding - just a cursory mow. However, they applied lime and/or fertilizer to my neighbor's lawn very heavily in spots causing the death of her grass in many places. On July 1, after they failed to perform services on June 30th as paid, and didn't bother calling, I contacted George via text to inform him to cancel any further services to our properties, and requested a refund of the $90 we had each paid in advance for June services. He acknowledged this and said the refunds would be mailed first thing after the 4th weekend. On July 12th, I again texted George reminding him of the now overdue refunds, but received no response.
