I am writing to you to complain about NatureScapes and Aquatics. I entered into an agreement (Invoice) with this company beginning February 2023. At which time, NatureScapes was to provide landscaping services to include prep work, skybox holleys, shrubs, gardenias, perennials, edging, stone mulch, and an irrigation system. Dave Coppage installed some shrubs, trees, and perennials with edging but never provided soil, stone mulch, or the irrigation system despite promises to do so. From the start the flowers and shrubs began to die and lose their leaves. The ground cloth was poorly laid as I see just as much of the ground as I do the cloth that is supposed to be covering the earth to prevent grass/weeds from growing, the irrigation system was never installed, the stone mulch and soil was never laid. I made repeated attempts via text and/or phone over the last several months and he made promises to come by and replace plants, lay soil, and put in the irrigations system but has failed to do so. I have lost confidence in the quality of the plans/shrubs and his commitment to do the work. I have asked for a refund me most of the upfront money paid to him February 25, 2023. I was quoted a total of $7,900. I paid $4,550 as a down payment. I’m not asking for a refund for the 2 skybox holleys ($200), 6 shrubs ($273), and edging ($675). I want a refund for the dead shrubs, trees, plants, soil that was never provided, the poorly laid ground cloth, and the portion of the down payment towards the irrigation system. Of the $4,550 paid to him as a down payment, I am asking for a refund of $3,402. Since asking for the refund on May 24th, Dave has not responded to my text or phone call. I need my refund so I can hire another professional to do the job. If you can help me settle this dispute and recoup the down payment I am due I would greatly appreciate it.
