I initially reached out to this company for squirrel removal and arranged an inspection. After inspection was done i was told it would be $150 per hole repair (i have 3) and $500 to trap and remove the squirrels. They charged the full amount upfront but never sent me a receipt, invoice or quote, although i have requested them. they trapped the squirrels but never fixed the holes which resulted in water damage to my ceiling and i have asked for an invoice for the work that was actually done and they ignored my request. What's right is right and I don't have an issue paying for what was done but they know the job was not done and still will not send me any paperwork in relation to my payment, damage, or trapping. I strongly advise against doing any business with this company and will also be filing complaints with the licensing office, secretary of state, SCDNR, SCDOI and all of my consumer platforms.

On March 15, 2024 I was notified by the Better Business Bureau that they had a complaint come in.  Regina gave me the Name and phone number of the person.  I then did a deep search on all of our systems for the person in question. My system allows me to search back to 2017 and at no time have ever been to the location. How are services work the person will call and speak to me and I will schedule to have a free inspection done.  At that point we will go out and figure out what is going on and how said wildlife is getting in. We would take photos and email the home owner a proposal.  All of our quotes cover trapping/removing, seal up all areas, and doing a bio clean up. We book about 3 weeks out and NO work is ever done on site that day.  Our work comes with a 5-year warranty.  We require 50% deposit that we collect on the day we start and then the balance is due the day we finished.
At no time did this person call our office to speak to me about this.  If there are any other questions, please let me know.

I just discovered that the parent company is Critter Control located at 210 Cherrywood Drive in Elgin, SC 29045. telephone number is 803.258.**** and the business uses Critter Ridder as a marketing ploy.

      Good evening.
I apologize for missing your letters. We were in the process of moving and mail being redirected may have gotten lost or misplaced into the trash bin.
I am not sure if this email helps anymore as the deadline has come and gone, but
I wanted to address her complaints.
The agreement was to remove the squirrels gaining access into her home via natural openings on the home. These areas are called roof returns. These were not "damaged" areas that would cause roof leaks however, they are areas that allow wildlife into an attic very easily. I can send photos of what a roof return is if you were interested, but you can also find some good examples on Google.
Any holes in the roof itself is for an entirely different company altogether and nowhere in the paperwork did we describe shingle or roof repair.
Looking back at my texts with her, I do have a text where she said her husband was "shoring up the holes in the roof". If he was fixing holes in the roof, why is she faulting me? My paperwork specifically says returns and a gap on the fascia (which also won't cause roof leaks).
Jan 12th was the last time she spoke to me, letting me know she saw two squirrels in the traps, however I kept her up to date on the progress. I even asked her why she filed a chargeback on her card, she responded and I told her I'd come over and walk her through what we did and she never responded.
I left it alone, didn't even send her a bill to collect on the trapping session despite her acknowledgement of trapping.

      Thank you
      Zane
