Ive gotten yearly cleanings & check-ups my entire life, yet I never had a cavity or any dental issues until l became covered under my own insurance at the age of 25.  I remember my teeth never hurt or were not bothering me, they looked fine and were strong yet for some reason I was told time after time by this provider that that I needed more work done.. work on the SMALLEST spots between teeth at first (the two surface one) sometimes the drill would only be on for 5 seconds. I would couldn't the first 20 on my mind and only 6 times did the drill run over 20 seconds Usually by an assistant they'd hand off to that would go overboard while the dentist was away.. fast forward 10 years later and I've now had every tooth "worked" on... over 15 fillings on teeth that NEVER bothered me before.. most of the smaller teeth hen turned into root canals & crowns of all types because the drill "went too far" hitting nerves and causing irreversible damage.  Looking back I cant remember ANY pain on ANY of these teeth until AFTER they were drilled on.. and now it all makes sense.  It's my fault I guess.. I was young & dumb ..too trusting of people.. noone really told me about greed in the dental field and I was STILL allowing this  unnecessary drilling up to 2 weeks ago when I went in for a cleaning and ended up having FOUR teeth drilled on.  I left that appointment one week ago in worse pain than I had when I went and over the past two weeks have dealt with unimaginable pain in my entire bottom left jaw... can barely sleep, eat and wake up with my entire jaw burning. I am currently looking for an AMA attorney to oversee work and document was was charted all I can do is focus on the pain.. which in turn has made me evaluate the last 10+ years of dental care with this provider. They are ridden with Greed and I'll practices. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROVIDER OF YOU HAVE DENTAL INSURANCE... THEY TOOK AWAY MY SMILE.
