This company is managed terribly, the equipment is falling apart, most of it has exposed industrial glue, and it's all-around a bad experience. Not only is it a crappy gym the salesman lied about the contract details when signing up, I specifically asked multiple times for my contract not to renew automatically after its end date. I was then told that after the end date the membership does not renew and a new contract would have to be signed. This was 100% a lie. I knew that I hated this gym shortly after joining and realizing that the broken equipment just stays broken or another layer of duct tape is added, I knew I was stuck in the contract so I waited patiently for the end date, I informed the front desk that I would like to cancel 45 days in advance. After canceling in March I never went back but its June now and I'm still being billed, I called to dispute this and was told that my contract automatically renewed itself after the end date and it didn't matter that I canceled in person at the gym 45 days in advance and I'm now being charged for July as well as the annual fee. This gym is awful, the management is awful, the billing policy is awful , cancelling is awful save your sanity and go somewhere else.

I renewed my membership with Pivotal Fitness at their former mount pleasant location on ****** ****** Two days later they shut down with no warning or explanation. Now they are sending debt collectors out!
