I booked "Glam By Christine" for a virtual bridal makeup class on April 7, 2023 with a promotion that you would receive a $50 gift card for ****. I received an email confirming my June 29th appt and a virtual gift card. June 28th, I received an email that she had thrown out her back and had to reschedule. She was still posting to social media that day. July 5th, she still had not offered a date to reschedule so I sent an email. No response. On July 9th, I sent another email request, as well as July 13th. I received a screen shot of some dates that were in September and October - after my wedding, which the virtual lesson was for. I told her that wouldn't work on July 13th (the same day as her email) with no response. Sent a follow up email July 17th. We went back and forth over the next 9 days and settled on a new date and time of August 14th at 3:30. August 11th, I was sent an email that they could not provide the class "due to unforseen circumstances". When I asked for a refund for services not rendered, I was told that they could only send via cash app or pay pal. I shared that I wanted on my original form of payment and this had been a terrible experience. I was told the owner had been in a car accident and would be recovering for several weeks. I begrudgingly sent my ****** information and was told it would take 30 days for the refund to process, which didn't seem right. August 21st I asked for a status update and they asked for my ****** again. Sept 9th I asked for an update with no response. Sept 18th I asked for the refund and threatened to go to the BBB. I received a response from someone named Kelsie who claims to be a scheduling coordinator. She said the owner had been diagnosed with a "serious medical condition and is currently in treatment. We will add your name to our client refunds list and we will issue your payment as soon as possible" As this person is advertising through Instagram, I would be surprised if I were the only one scammed
