      Be careful folks, They'll scam you with the security deposit, when I moved in to the property there was a security camera from previous renters, and they are charging me to remove it. They lied about the bathtub not draining, and that was like that since we got in the house, my wife submitted work orders for the AC not working correctly and they are charging me to get it fix, I was there for over a year and never fixes the floor. My wife has photos since we moved in and she was asking for an email address to send them proof of everything, and they didn't provide it. I guess they didn't want to have that in their files because doesn't help them with the scam

      Maymont Homes formerly known as Conrex are scammers !! When they were Conrex we rented a beautiful home inside and out . Times got trying but yet still paid my rent . I had got behind trying to keep up and was put on a repayment plan. Was paying that and the rent and trying to keep up with simple bills which also ridiculous within itself . Everything was going fine 2 months into the payment plan …. So this is August and I go to pay half of my rent and to let them know I would be sending in the rest my next pay period and was told that there was no repayment plans anymore as of that day ( that I called to pay) in fact and that they do not accept partial payments I’m like since when ? And they would not accept my rent … long story short they evicted me and my family and I had the money at court and I told the judge but they didn’t care …they gave no prior notice to canceling the payment agreements for anyone … simple bills are crooks too .. and I’m in Ohio … if you can at all costs please avoid them like the plague

      We will Never rent from this company again we moved out March 2024. It is now June 2024. I called to see if we were getting our security deposit back and they proceeded to tell me that our date to vacate was July 6, 2024. How is that possible when our day to vacate was supposed to be the end of March when I called they tried to tell me that we owed March payment, the SimpleBills Which we canceled when we moved out and late fees totaling the amount of over $7000. They told me some lie about how someone came to check the house in June and that someone was still living there we went to go drive by the house and there is no one in that property and we peeped in the windows and it was clean the way we left it It was a nightmare, moving into this house and moving out of this house and now we are about to take this to court. Do not rent from this Company!! When it was Conrex, it had the worst agents with the worst attitudes and now Maymont is turning out to be crooks and scammers

      I will not even provide 1 star to this company! It was terrible when it was Conrex and even worse as Maymont. As others have shared, this company is a bunch of Crooks! They mandate you to use "simplebills" for your gas, electric and sewer which cost way more than other utility companies. Prior to moving into Conrex/ Maymont homes, I had a larger house that I was renting and my Utilites bill was approximately $150 per month. My bill through simple bills has not been any less than $400 and running as high as $600/month. My husband and I resided in this home that was way bigger than we needed. We only utilized the down stairs and reported some damage on the move in report. After throroughly cleaning the house upon move in, that had animal hair everywhere, dog food behind the stove, animal poop in the pantry, I contacted Conrex to voice concerns regardin the cleanliness and other damages found. I was told they would add it on to my move in report. I rented from them for 15 months, always paid the rent early and replaced and fixed whatever i could without bothering maintenance (i.e. loose cabinet handles, porch light that was reported broken and never fixed, electrical issue that kept blowing fuse, etc) At the end of our stay, the house was completely cleaned out and looked cleaner than we moved in. There was some scuffs, fainted paint on the walls which was also an issue when we moved in. There was some discoloration to the carpets which was also reported when we moved in. Security Deposit was $2295.00 and I received notice that we would only be receving $296 back. I contacted the company to dispute the charges, especially the $1200 charged to repaint the whole interior of the house, with no attempts of resolution. This is against the law in South Carolina and I will be obtaining an attorney! Do yourself a huge favor and do not rent or deal with this scamming company at all! I have also saved a few friends from having to fight this company for the money that is theirs!

      These people just steal your application money and fake pull the listing. Then put the listing back up to get more application fees. They lied about our credit score and which we were only 3 points off. But after running our scores we were found to be eligible by about 50 points. I believe these people are fraudulent in the rental properties. I recommend not requiring about renting anything in Columbus Ohio. It might have been a blessing in disguise.

      I am going on 4 weeks without a kitchen. Maymont hired a mold remediation company that gutted my kitchen because there was a drain leak behind the kitchen sink that caused black mold throughout the home. Not one peep from Maymont. I have been the one calling every day for updates. All a pack of lies they keep telling me.

      Title: Unresolved Septic Issues and Negligent Management at Maymont Homes - Beware! I am utterly frustrated and compelled to warn potential tenants about Maymont Homes. For the past two months, I have been dealing with severe septic tank issues that have rendered my downstairs bathroom unusable. Despite multiple visits from plumbers and septic services, the problem persists. Each professional has indicated that the septic intake is critically damaged, with concrete obstructing access for proper repairs. Recommendations for a new tank installation were outright rejected by the property management. The situation worsened when Roto Rooter discovered a broken pipe leading from the toilet to the septic tank, causing sewage to leak under the house. This has created a severe health hazard, evidenced by a persistent smell of sewage within our living space. Both Roto Rooter and another reputable company provided estimates for significant repairs needed, yet we’ve received no actionable response from the management. Two weeks ago, after much frustration, we were promised compensation, hotel accommodation, or a move to another property if the issues weren’t promptly addressed. Yet, we have received nothing but silence. Attempts to reach the property manager, Tiffany, who initially contacted me about the issues, have been fruitless. Promises of follow-up have led nowhere, leaving me to deal with these intolerable living conditions. Given this experience, I strongly advise against renting from Maymont Homes. Their handling of serious maintenance issues and the lack of communication is unacceptable and unprofessional. I am now seeking legal counsel to address this negligence. Please consider this a red flag warning if you are considering renting a property managed by Maymont Homes

      DO NOT RENT! Horrible business. They have fee after fee after fee during the application process and barely any of it goes to the actual rent. The home they gave was in absolute horrible condition like it had never been cleaned before. Stains on the carpet and walls, poop from a cat just laying around. I had a short notice move so I did not see it in person, but the house was a wreck. They didnt care at all and offered no services to clean the place, just a 150 dollar reimbursement which didnt even begin to cover the costs of what I had to get to clean it. The fridge is broken and the water and ice do not work, their response was "its old, nothing we can do about it". Horrible customer service and they do not care about the tenant. I have known a few people that I have safely kept away from this company. They force you to use their utility service which is an extra charge with no way around it. They'll take your security deposit just to not use it on the house. Covered up holes with the wrong paint color. Theres so much to be said and none of it is a good experience. Please take your hard earned money somewhere else!

      Do not rent with these crooks. I was under the assumption that the move-out process was going to be smooth, but as it turns out it was far from that. We had a notice to vacate on 2/22/2024 and moved out 4/26/2024. We were told that the final rent price would be about 1700$ (normal rent was $1964)from 3 different customer service reps from maymont Homes. However our final rent was $2044. When questioned we were told there was an additional hold in case we stayed beyond the 26th, and so long as we were out by the 26th, we would be refunded the difference. This has not happened. To add insult to injury, me and my roommate split the rent. My payment was received, however maymont is trying to say they never received the other half ($1022), but the bank statements says otherwise. So they're just trying to extort an extra 1000 from me? Also Simple bills was supposed to be giving us a final bill, when in fact we are not and are still getting billed as of 5/16/2024. The move out inspection done by Maymont says the power and water is not on. How the hell are we supposed to have any control over that??? This brings me to my next issue. The move out inspection. There's some thing I can 100% understand. Things like light bulbs, a couple minor damages to the walls as well as blinds here and there. I 100% get that. What I do not understand is that why I am being charged $700 for paint. That is a whole damn house and plus some. That's not my responsibility at all. Pressure washing is another charge that is not my responsibility. I'm being dinged for the HVAC filter, which I was instructed to replace every 3 months. It was replaced 1 month prior to us moving out. There's more little things here like pre existing damage that was shown when we moved in, that is suddenly our fault??? Maymont Homes is such a disorganized company and I do not recommend renting from them
