On Friday, 2-10-23, my husband paid $122.71 to ship an envelope to me at a residence in ********** for Overnight Saturday delivery via **** The charge agreed with the *** online rate. Unfortunately, the envelope did not deliver until Tuesday, 2-13-23.Upon my return, I went to the *************** for a refund as I did not receive the service paid for. The *** online rate for 3 day delivery to a residence was $28.36. The manager at the center filed a claim with ***, there were no weather or other events to e plain the delay and on March 26th I received a check for $54.03. When I called to request the $40.32 I believe I am still owed, the manager stated the refund was the amount received from *** and would ask the store owner if she could give me a store credit. As this is a **** center, and the majority of my shipping needs are handled by my company, I have no use for a store credit. Since that call, and after several attempts to receive a response, I have heard nothing.I am not asking for a full refund, only to pay for the service I actually received.Business response

This customer shipped a package with us that was delayed. We act as a 3rd party and reached out to the carrier for a refund on behalf of the customer. We were able to receive a partial refund as the service was provided but delayed. As this customer stated in her complaint, a refund check was mailed to her for the amount we received from the carrier. Additionally, we offered a store credit on an attempt to make things right with this customer. This customer also issued a charge back with her credit card company on 5/25, anlmost 2 months after receiving the refund. As a business owner, I am happy to do whatever I can to ensure customers are satisfied with their service. In this case, I even went above and beyond our standard business policies. Now that a chargeback has been issued, theres nothing else I can do in regards to refunding this customer.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.In addition, as I received a full credit from my bank I will return the uncashed partial credit.
