      Don't Go Yes they are cheaper than others or so thay say. I brought my 2015 Jeep Renegade and the said and showed my saying i needed new brakes calipers all 4 of them. They banged them with hammer's and said they where frozen and needed replacement. Now my $169 dollar brake's where going to cost $1000 I opened the driver's door and pushed the button to start the car and then pushed the parking brake button and the calipers opened up. Had i not known better they could have ripped me off. My point is how many people are they Ripping OFF Don't Go There

      I had a very bad experience with the manager at the Garners Ferry location. He told me to bring my vehicle back to him once I had the alignment done to look at another issue that was going on. I took his advice and took the vehicle to Midas. Midas told me that there was something going on in the steering column. I returned to Brakes-For-Less and told him that I'd like for him to look at it to give me a second opinion. He told me that he wouldn't know what it could be until he could put it on the rack and look at it. I asked him when would be a good time. He told me Monday. When I brought it back, he was not very pleasant for some odd reason. I told him I brought it so that he could look at it and he responded to me with "We don't do that type of work." I was puzzled. So, I told him what type of work are you referring too? He responded, "Rack and pinion." I told him I never said it was the rack and pinion. He then went on about the other place said rack and pinion. I told repeated myself yet again. He was very rude and acted as if he didn't want to look at my vehicle. So, I asked him is this how he treats customers and he responded, "Well you got an attitude with me." He asked for my keys, and I told him that I won't leave my keys for fear that he would do something to my vehicle. So, I left. I'm very disgusted with this treatment as this is not the first time that he has been rude to me.

      Ms. W*******, we acknowledge your experience with our Garner's Ferry location was negative and sincerely apologize for the dialogue and overall interactions with us during your return visits after after your alignment. Our repairs shops are not general automotive shops. We specialize in and focus on servicing car and truck braking components. While are staff are capable of diagnosing issues and servicing components outside of a vehicle's braking system those are services we do not generally provide at Brakes-4-Less. We acknowledge clearer communication of this could have prevented your negative experience. Specifically, we feel once we learned of the steering column issues we should have clearly indicated we would not be able to assist further, thereby eliminating the need for your last visit and avoiding the interaction you've detailed. With respect to your last visit with us, we acknowledge this was another missed opportunity for clear feedback concerning your vehicle. For example, the "rack and pinion" you referenced in your complaint is a component directly related to your steering column. We believe both you and our staff were referencing the same issue(s) reported by Midas and truly regret we were not able to reach this understanding amicably. We appreciate your feedback Ms. W*******, and will use it to improve future customer interactions at all of our locations.
