I have consigned clothes here. I know I have a balance due me off at least $80. I also have unsold clothes here. The business has closed, without contacting me or sending me the $ owed me from selling my clothes. When I contacted them they claimed the original owner took over, but that is not true. There will not return calls from me.Initial Complaint

I have consigned my childrens' clothes with Carousel Boutique for many years and have never had an issue with being compensated for the clothes they have sold on my behalf. However, with new leadership at the store, that is no longer the case. I have tried more than 10 times in the last four months to collect the money I am owed for my clothes they sold and have been unsuccessful. My family has stopped by the store to pick up the check, I have called the store (employees were frustrated with the situation) and have not been able to resolve. Employees gave me the new owner's cell and I have both spoken with him and exchanged text messages where he promised to send the money. Nothing has been received on my end. He then said he would send a money order to me via certified mail and lied about that as well. Never received that on my end either. This has been an extremely frustrating process and would like to receive the money I am due. Please help.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/10/06) */ Customer contacted me stating that she had not received a check. We sent a check to the address we had which was a Columbia address. She contacted me back a week later and she had not received the check. I confirmed that it was mailed the previous Tuesday Sept 14, 2021. I asked if she had pay pal I was willing to send it to her that way she did not. She contacted me again on Wednesday Sept 29 stating she did not receive it again. On Thursday Sept 30 I went by the address we had in file and dropped off a check. After I left the residence I sent the customer a text stating what I did. The customer then informed me that she moved and lived in **. I asked for her to text me her address in **. I immediately went to the post office and sent her the $26.20 money order. Tracking XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX tracking states it was received at the residence of the customer 10/4/2021.
